Oh dear the side lettering. How this made it through QC I have no idea. Lettering starts off fine then veers of course until the REGNI II (rose) are hanging off the coin. Why is this passed as ok? The rose is literally in the coin edge. 🤯… now for a long trip back to Europe

Speaking of dealers, you will only ever get close to spot price if selling to them. Only really viable if spot jumped dramatically and you were happy with the gains.

I think I’m going to see how this plays out. Not good for the coins bought on the secondary market but I’d take a RM credit for the balance or I’m going to machine one with an inscription and post a picture to RM and social media.

I was always nervous for the quality of this coin as across platforms they’ve been shocking. 5oz.

I would share pictures but it’s not worth my while. Ok, just one.

Off to a flying start- the hinge on the box was broken.

Obverse- three marks on Charlie’s portrait. Chip missing on the neck.

Reverse- George’s sword has actually been used and scuffed.

The circumference inscription is intermittently frosted. Marks and scuffs around the whole coin. (Not capsule)

Returned for a replacement.

The Monarchs were good quality,well designed and packaged collectables. I never returned a single coin in the series. They’ll probably agree to a return for silver ‘spot’ price because somewhere in their T&Cs will mention that can stop a series without warning or compensation. I’ll be stuck with my last three for the melting pot.

I know there has been some very effective videos calling them out, but they really do not care because there is enough ‘satisfied’ customers🤷‍♂️#mugs

Collector coins and no stacking. Damage is done and a few just compounding the problem for the quick buck.

@Charliemouse showed some close ups and even though technology has improved, RM has gone backwards. Enough people have complained publicly and are the laughing stock of the industry. Top or bottom, it must be costing them financially. 
Case in point, the returns on the new GE, It's horrendous.

This should have gone. One of the best design, top pop and fantastic price for a complete set. I sold one for £150 more not long ago. Got my hand bitten off. 

Whatever the process, most other mints around the world managed to deliver the coins in top quality condition to the customer. It is a QA issue. A blind one or lazy.
