The forum software was incrementally updated, as this was a small update release and mainly contained a security patch we upgraded and didn't think there would be any issues. 

There is however something (i.e. some custom plugin/application from our extensive list of modifications) that is causing some issues on TSF since we updated the forum software.

Some things may look different or not work currently whilst we try to locate and fix the issues. I had believed I had fixed the necessary ones yesterday but today there was issues again. There may also be some very short bursts of downtime whilst we are looking into this, apologies for the inconvenience caused we are working to fix it all. 

Does anyone have a spare 1987 proof half sovereign. 
Special year date for me (birth of my first child).
I understand that all half sovereigns from this year were proof coins. However, I am not too bothered about the condition, so long as it is relatively ‘nice’.

I think a few things have come together to cause the price premium to drop heavily:-
1. Current state of the economy and fewer having spare cash with which to devote to metals
2. In view of point 1 there’s a greater number of stackers needing to make more cash available thus over supply to the secondary silver market whilst all trying to sell
3. Two or three sellers converged to crash the market somewhat by undercutting existing sellers and creating a new floor in price
4. Greater sense of apathy over silver versus gold? Maybe
I actually think both silver and gold may be seeing something of an ebb in current appetite to buy. Maybe if silver can hold £20/oz for a good while people will begin to see this is normal and higher premiums will return

I have a low mintage set of 1 oz silver coins (each coin max 10K mintage) from the country of Barbados that have formed a series (called the Caribbean series) since 2020. The set contains 11 coins in total and I would prefer to sell as a set. I need to move them on as they no longer fit the collection.
