Not a coin but a 0.999 round/medallion by Satosan Metals (..that's a newly discovered one for me)..he also has a few other well-designed products. Quite refreshing to see a company (?person) putting out such a high quality product, and yet who has not become greedy. For the typical cost that I would pay in $US for a coin of a similar mintage from one of the more obscur countries (ie the various island in Oceana, Africa and the "- Stans" , Mongolia etc.) , I was able to purchase two of these with all-in costs (shipping, and a ~35% US to CDN dollar exchange) for a similar cost in $CDN ! I also like the idea of supporting this kind of story (private, low mintage, non-exorbitant prricing) .

    Cheers,
    Luker

p.s. the mintage of this will be limited to a maximum of 1000 (one thousand)post-207-0-71357100-1441725834_thumb.jpg

  4. That's a great size, but shipping costs!!

That's a great size, but shipping costs!!

Yes and I lament the fact that despite the 35+ million souls here in Canada  there are no purveyors of poured silver. There are a few other businesses (namely Vulture Peak Mines) whose products I would  also like to have, but they don't ship outside of the US.

  5. A few of the new YPS 10oz Silver Skulls (serialized but no indication of limited mintage)

(p.s. shipping is a bitch though...($46 US to Canada for 50oz)

    Cheers,

  6.

Looks like there was three additional takers at $499 since yesterday...I would think that they would need to knock the price back to $449 , or even $399 to move the rest...but who knows, perhaps once buyers have the sets in hand (early september) they will start to move again..

Then again, to put things in better perspective, I believe that it hasn't even been 24 hours since the Set has been up for sale...

    Cheers,

    Luker

  7. Probably paid more than I should have (bought on impulse) , but not as much as they are currently selling for ($499 US). apparantly the initial sets were being sold for $199!

    Cheers,

    Luker
