A lovely idea to add a 1 gram bar to your order each time to help build up the gold pile, esp if you're on a budget. I'm tempted to treat myself to a 1 gram bar now. Oh why oh why do I read these threads. That's another £50 quid gone now lol.

I've bought from them a few times. Always gone perfectly well. I usually add a 1g bar to whatever I'm ordering to take advantage of the flat postage rate.

Worth keeping a eye on what's selling at auction. Half sovereigns seem to go unnoticed by a lot of buyers. There was loads sold last week at a coin auction for spot or below, even with the 26 percent buyers fees added.

Hi all,
Just received and handled my first gold nugget yesterday - it's small at only 2.5 grams but feels fantastic.
I've never understood why people collect them until now, the compactness of the nuggets makes them feel a lot more dense in hand (giving that unnatural weighty feel). Compared to coins, I also love how tactile and handlable they are, it already feels better than a sovereign!
I would love to buy more, ideally some larger ones, but was wondering if any nugget collectors can provide some advice on where to purchase, and what kind of prices I should expect to pay.
E.g. what premiums over spot are generally applied for the more common ones such as Australia or Alaska?
