A nice pair of early young vic’s courtesy of RDHC.

The 5th birthday of Prince George, Strike on the Day Celebration Sovereign Struck on 22.7.18. Very nice coin with mintage: 485.   It has been on my wishlist for a while now. GoldDiggerDave has been recommending this alot, and glad that I got this before the interest on the forum gets too high 😄

Big shout out to @Clockpuncher for helping to complete my own Great Engravers collection with 2005 1oz gold Britannia designed by the legendary Philip Nathan. Though Philip is known for the iconic original Britannia which we have all come to love he also created 4 other incredibly beautiful 1 year designs in 1997, 2001, 2003 and 2005

Compared to the 2016 ,far more detail especially on the horse.

My first 1oz Gold piece.

All modern Sovs (post 2000) are horrible. Flat, no definition/detail, and a horrible colour. I refuse to buy them out of principle. 

Looks ok. Funny looking reverse though. Goodness knows. Looks odd to me compared to the other ones Ive seen.
