@GSS I've had positive dealings with you before, everything above board. Please get your head out of your ass and make good on the above. Do not destroy your reputation by sitting back doing nothing, this will not go away on it's own. Provide @sellerstacker with photographic evidence of the postage receipt, not just a tracking number, but the actual receipt with postcode on it!

I still have faith that this is just a monumental kok up and no malice involved, but the longer you stay quiet and sit on your hands, the more guilty you come across.

Thanks for your help in this matter. I have received a photo of the proof of postage. However, RM are adamant that this has been doctored when I sent it to them. They state categorically that the item was not sent to the address on the receipt. This is why a simple claim made to Royalmail should flush this out. However, the will to raise a claim or to engage is what is lacking sadly.

  2. Dear fellow forum members,

I feel obliged to write this message because of an ongoing case that I have had to raise with the police. By now most of you have sussed out who this message is about. I am only writing to give you all an idea of what happened thus far as there are a few whispers on the forum and I did not want anyone to get any mixed messages about the forum. The forum remains very close to my heart and I enjoy trading here. I have also met some absolutely fab people through the forum for which I am truly grateful.

As shown in this message I listed 3 x Metalor 1 kg bars and 1 x 100 g SMP bar for a swap of 5.5 sovs. The deal was finalised, and I asked for the sovs to be sent to my PO Box address. The user raised an objection saying that he felt that delivery to a Royalmail PO box address is not fully covered by special delivery (he felt that SD covered the items until they reached my PO Box but not until they reached me - meaning if anything were to go wrong in the interim the parcel would not be insured). Consequently, I gave the other party my postal address for him to send the sovs there. I posted my bars and the other party said sent the sovs (this was from according to RM tracking) after they received my bars. I also received positive feedback for the bars. However, I did not receive the sovs.

I asked for proof of postage regarding the sovs and I was sent a receipt with a tracking ref. When I contacted Royalmail they categorically stated that the package was not sent to the address on the postal receipt. I even sent the user a recording of what the Royalmail customer services agent said. All that is needed is for a Royalmail claim to be raised and if it is a Royalmail error (where they have delivered the parcel to an address other than the one on the postal receipt) they are going to provide a full refund. So, I asked the user to raise a Royalmail claim but they have not done this far and have started ignoring my message. Chris too tried contacting the other party but has not had much luck. To date, I have not received the sovs and it is well over a week now. I have thus reported the matter to the police.

I am hopeful that the user would do the right thing by making contact, raising a RM claim or being honest about what really happened. This, I feel would benefit everyone and save us all a lot of trouble.

    Regards,

    S

1912 has no relevance to football. I on the other hand was watching my teams last game of the season, hence you getting some nice coins. Otherwise you'd never have stood a chance 😆 🤣

I lobby for more footie on the tele in that case 🙂
