None in America either. Unless you make a profit off sales and you sell more than $10k of your stash at a time. Capital gains.

I'm sorry to hear that, will they let you leave the country? We don't have a tax on silver or gold here.

Did anyone hear about Perth Mint offering LBMA accredited Chinese Minted bars, to their un-allocated customers. I commend the mint sourcing silver to meet it's contractual agreements and to quell the public backlash, however if I were the CEO I would not offer Chinese bars that would be bound to ruffle a few feathers, it's comical how they are flipping and flopping and it just keeps getting stranger.

    Very good point ,
I don't believe people generally want to think the worst, but such a strange world leaves no other option sometimes. From there, if were being honest about our situation whatever that may be personal or collective, as a starting point to improve from, then only can things change. But yes perspective can help us deal with the situation also. Then bouncing ideas with others who are doing the same.

    Thank you 🙂
I think it’s absolutely possible; personally I do not think it’s even conscious for many people: I may guess it’s due to a more instinctive approach, generated by doubts...as they often quote in Star Wars (the road to the dark side lol ).
To share ideas is definitely one of the best way to spread your spectrum and widen up your “visual”, but that’s definitely something everybody know....It’s just common sense, even if often forgotten (by myself first of all lol )

Occam's Razor definitely works for simple things and personal situations, but it would seem to me that the bigger the sandbox, the greater the possibilities and the more challenges to explain or discover solutions. Just like Newtonian physics applies to everything that is familiar but does not often apply to the subatomic. The greater the variables, the less useful it is. Even reason has it limits.
Besides being the change I want to see in the world? I have a few ideas that I am working toward, but for now I am keeping them to myself.

Haha, have you read 1984, it isn't fiction anymore but probably still in that library category, if they didn't vaporize it.
How can you change the world for the better? Each will have their gifts and the question is our alone to ask oneself, so you tell me.
Some have made great inventions that improved the quality of life. Some have made personal sacrifices to the benefit of their fellow man, such as soldiers etc.
But the problem is there is no real just war left worth fighting if there ever has been that I can think of, other than stopping the evils of totalitarian communism, which has been bought on by endless propaganda by media, the deliberate confusion of the information age, materialism, consumerism, and technocratic socialism age. It's demonic and it's cancelling traditions and culture at such an astonishing rate, with nothing of value to replace it with but bogus demonic science.

in a nutshell the best I can come up with is start with yourself, don't think like they want you to. Be an individual, find the truth and don't be afraid to tell it instead of going for popularity or the acceptance of peers etc, and vote with your $. Most of all Trust, Pray and Obey the simple Commandments and Statutes of God, as best as you can. But that's where the arguments and disagreements start and I'm not looking for that. But seeing as you asked that's my opinion. The rest is choice and freewill. It's one crazy world

I suppose it depends what industry you are looking in. I think you need to compare it to similar products. Good example are TVs, if you compare them to cameras, mobile phones, games consoles, and anything the Chinese are now making the price has vastly dropped.
If you take for instance a first class stamp, you can't really compare it to anything else. 12p in 1980 and 85p today a rise of 608%.
I looked at metals dating back to the 1960s.
Copper 1379% rise, zinc 2650% rise, tin 1513% rise, gold 528% rise, platinum 450% rise and silver 119% rise.
If you take the price of inflation at about 608% then you can kind of see people's opinions on silver.
My personal opinion is that silver is on a very strange line between being deemed as a industrial metal and a form of holding value. It doesn't know where it is. Only Time will tell and fingers crossed it leaves gold and platinum and head up with the others.

Yes it has been heavily manipulated, to agree.

Is it fair market value, that depends who's perspective you see it from. No way if you ask me.
Would the TV be the same build quality today, probably not, and the labor would have been sourced in a 3rd world less or unregulated environment, making manufacture cheaper with sub quality to 20 or 30 years ago. So the TV is not the best analogy. Even with higher mining costs and more demand the metal has not reflected it's relative value, based on rarity and above ground total supply vs Gold or any other commodity over the same period, the only conclusion is massive manipulation for purposes that do not benefit small holders.
The $400 price is just an indicator of how inflation has not accounted in the current price, it's ridiculous when you take every other factor into account. The spot price is mind boggling but the retail price is closer to reality but even that is not right in my opinion.

yep I gathered that's what you meant, and likewise. Thanks for making the point though.

As for the markets and to bring this back to topic, to give an idea of how they don't correlate to reality when in regards to silver. Based on a inflation adjusted equivalent to it's all time high in USD silver's. That ATH to quote David Morgan is $400 when you factor inflation. I think I'm starting to see whats going on, but it's no guarantee the world will ever reflect true reality.

I avoid the truth at all cost. I also avoid the lies at all cost.
From the very moment you are born you are lied to. Father Christmas, Easter bunny, tooth fairy. Even worse we are guilted into it to lie to our own children. Ahhh look at that cute pig, fluffy lamb and good old daisy the cow. As soon as the kids are not looking we're butchering them up and feeding it to them (yum yum). The fact it is installed bin us in the very beginning to be liers, it's human nature.
I read a fiction book years back, it's called state of fear. It was nothing special but something resonated within me and I started taking notice of how people behaved with the information they receive. When the powers at be realized an average man would go over the trenches to certain death because of the fear that the enemy would win they knew they were on to something. I think the whole thing has steam rolled from that point.
The problem being is that it is all information. Whether it's mainstream media, soaps or your average Joe with a YouTube account, it is all a opinion that is aim to change the way you think. For many years now I don't listen or trust any of it, as a result I have a much quieter life.
Out of interest, how would you all change the world for the better?

Just to add, when I state religion, I should have stated 'organised religion', where an authority claims to know the will of deities/God and then use it for political justification/influence/control.

I started waking up to this stuff in 2006. Before then I was fully invested in the lie, so I understand all of the people that want to avoid the truth at all costs. I was one of them. Because it's all so much simpler to believe what you're spoon-fed instead of doing real research which requires exploring all arguments and then picking them apart and reconstructing them one by one. I can't help but come to the conclusion that we've been lied to for a very long time, not just 2001, but 1913. Not just 1913, but perhaps for thousands of years.

Yes, in my opinion, dare I say, everything has been weaponized against we the people who have a basic inherent right to prosper and live free from slavery/usury.
The war of words is poisoning many minds who cant see the implications or how they are manipulated to an end that doesn't suit their short or long term interests. Double Speak is everywhere.

I've come to see that nothing in the world is by a completely natural occurrence or means, except for nature where un-corrupted or unpolluted, in other words everything is controlled by a hidden hand for a hidden purpose or agenda that you pay for and are coerced deceptively to be part of but are not privy to the truth, unless you can figure it out for yourself. As an aside, I think that's why a lot of us were attracted to silver. I basically trust a 180 deg flip of what spin narrative were fed in the mainstream is more likely the truth.

False balances are more popular than ever, and so are corporate and global government/currency/reset/green new BS deals etc. and excused with bogus agendas like Covid to kick it off, eg. The magic word to be a cover for any nonsense not normally acceptable, and quacks and scientists lost every idea about morality look at CERN and their new particle beam that they are sending into space WTF, these vaccine forcing and spin doctoring going on in mind boggling and in every country, they are all in on this agenda and whatever you believe I bet you see the motives are not good and based on control.

The world has become a mess and 2001 was the major turning point, things looking forward from here 2021 don't look pretty, we must remain hopeful but do what we can to bring change that actually suits the people. The Silver Squeeze Redit group for example has made waves and this is a great example at how we can unite together for a cause.
We will lose more rights if we do nothing. And what gives in the end, I believe evil will destroy evil, but a huge toll will be paid for our iniquities for being misled and giving our posterity away for a bowl of porridge today, like the historical story of Esau.

We all play a part in the emerging world and we all have an opportunity to make it a better place for those who come after us. Thank you too for your angle ScentSation

The Great Reset. Global corporate tax. Vaccine passports. Universal Basic Income. Green New Deal.
It isn't the Book of Revelation I'm worried about. It's the individuals who appear to be using it for world domination. Certainly we agree that it's too coordinated to be coincidental. Definitely words like "righteous" and "morality" are important, appropriate and accurate and no one should ever be barred from using them. But even their counterparts like "equality," "equity" and "justice" have been corrupted by the opposite by the other wing to have a stigma to them that was not originally intended. They were supposed to mean "equality of opportunity" "kindness, respecting and loving one's neighbor." When all the words you could possibly use have a stigma to them on one "side" or the other, it would seem that no choice could really be wrong, even if all of them have been redefined to leave a bitter aftertaste. A word that came to my mind, an old word, is iniquity, meaning "a false balance." The concept that a person or organization can decide what is best for others and take from the other what is not theirs, primarily a lust for power and control.
You posts are wealth of information and wisdom, OldCoin. Thank you.

This dialogue was interesting. Some of my thoughts are that JPM is nothing more than a puppet for a emerging power, a New World Order if you like. If they intend to transition to a one world digital currency which I believe is their plan, then they do not want the fact silver is such a raving good buy and has been suppressed for a very long time, they don't want that cat out of the bag, so unless the short squeeze by physical believers can outrun their manipulation, I'd be expecting the manipulation to continue and even become more entrenched. The fact they can get away with it tells me it's a far bigger agenda way above JPM, Billy Goats, and all the other demons without any moral compass. This financial terrorism is the emerging Totalitarian Communism regime, and so is the Socialism that will always lead to said Communism, as Vladimir Lenin was quoted. Like in Revelation, the beast made war with the saints for a time, but eventually evil destroys evil, and good prospers. But my addage is, not if good people don't stand and uphold the righteous morality. Financial morality is getting away from fake money in every way, as they can't control metals in the long run and if every last oz is bought up by the righteous people, and we form our own system of trade and settlement, then there would be no support for the existence of these demonic parasites. That's why everything is regulated to hell in this current system so you and I can't bypass these rotten scoundrels and their sick evil agendas.

Yep and moral of the story is if you hate the current premiums you will really hate the premiums to come, as a indicator of real price direction.

The silver to keep the market stocked is there but the market manipulators with combined mega capital are hoarding it and will ration it out like a bread line, at inflated prices. Only way to circumvent that may be to secure what you need now or cry later I guess?
