The coin was purchased from a reputable seller, I never opened the capsule.
And the seller said about the coin that : "It's excellent condition, I had planned to grade it..."

this is a shield a got few years ago, on ebay if i remember correctly, paid something like 450 gbp at the time. 
despite everything is it still possible to get good deals around, you just need not to rush and train your eyes when you look for lustre, wear, edge condition etc etc (i have evidently never learnt how to take decent pics tho)
