  3. Hi.die marks were only used from 1863 to 1874. Sovreigns minted in London will not have a mint mark at all that's why I asked if there was a M Melbourne or S Sydney mint mark? In 1883 no sovreigns were minted in London as far as I know so it should have either the S or M mint mark usually under Vicki's neck? Can you see the initials WW on Vicki's neck????
  4. Sydney or Melbourne mint..can't see a mint mark???
  5. Thanks as I have only bought 1 1941 1/2 penny in very good detal..but the patina is black which I really like...just want to know whether going forward its a good idea to collect all years...and wondered what a good price would be for these copper pennies or half's?????
  6. I think so....they released the the others first I believe, but don't quote me on that. Still think the original is unbeatable Re:Gothic Crown..
  7. Bbp are a good company but always.......charge more than other dealers 🙄

  10. Electric cars I believe first introduced in America in the 1920's...so not a new concept....only problem is we would have to have a ceiling cage to produce the electricity to the car through a conductor....any ideas.😆😆 Dodgems, or bumper cars, are small, electric- powered vehicles often found at amusement parks and fairs. Each car runs on electricity, with a motor powering a main drive wheel. ... Each dodgem is surrounded by a rubber bumper that offers passengers some cushioning from impacts.
  11. I do love these larger coins..only thing that puts me off is the liquidity when selling. If its a coin you want to keep or pass on to future generations great..but if its something you want to sell in a few years gonna be a wait to get the buyer who wants this...liquidity is the king when selling and smaller denominations are the way for me but that's just my personal opinion....as I said I love these chunks but don't think I'd ever purchase one..just because of liquidity.. Regards.
  12. Thanks...I've got some old copper coins I can try...but thinking about it might just leave as is..the details are very nice and the patina,I do like. Regards..
  13. I think they should have added ... ( Experience working on a dairy farm useful but not essential?..
  14. I think your right...mainly gold n Silver here..Do you ever clean your copper or bronze coins?..I was thinking about cleaning it with a non harsh abrasive..I'm dead against cleaning gold, silver but thought its not going to be much of a problem if I tried to clean it..although I do love the patina on these coins..
  15. Just had another look..available again,states 95% sold...might be worth another try..
  16. Thanks for the info..I've looked on allcoinsvalue. The thing I'm curious about is there a market out there for victorian pennies etc..do people collect them on a large scale..you are the first person to respond to my thread so I'm thinking maybe it's not a common collectable? I love the different varieties and the history of what these coins have seen as were more used in day to day life than say...shillings crowns and sovs.. regards
  17. I think with use of PM's of all kinds in the manufacture of EV's in the future will lead to an increase in car crimes for the metals...you only have to look at the high crime rate for knobheads jacking up cars to get to the Platinum out of the cat converters....the more PM's that go into the manufacturing of electric cars..the more cars are going to be jacked for their metal components...we shall see in years to come.....
