    Time to sell?

As with the above comments..(Hold) pm's are not a get rich quick scheme Regards.
  2. I register and always get the email about 4 hours after the release..thank god for TSF 🙂🙂
  3. Honestly...looks like it's going to take a dump 😅
  4. Who knows..I see the 10 QB's still being advertised on sites in all denominations silver n gold...with prices not that much over their original prices...with no takers...the completer you can buy on most dealers sites and fleabay cheaper now when they first come out..due to spot prices going down...I'm just a person who is not going to go mad over these new releases...and doesn't get caught up in the hype..might bite me in the butt in 5 years..but how many diff releases are there going to be in the next 5 years, and not being morbid..we might not be here lol.. ....I'd rather invest in sovs because I know that in 5 years they are going to be easier to liquidate that a 10 coin set of QB's or TB's..but just my opinion ... Regards
  5. Well I can have it but don't want it..so blows your comment out of the water..with respect.... everytime there is a new release..there is always going to be likes and dislikes...that's life...everyone entitled to their own opinion...and that is why I love this site and conversing with members with different opinions..🙂🙂🙂🙂
  6. I totally disagree..with respect BYB the TB's needed to be new,non contemporary a fresh approach that reflects the 1989 design... having a Tudor font wouldn't make any difference to the design....the font is boring..they needed to inject a different design.. the Panther is bland..having the font of Tudor times on retro basis Tudor coinage would have made a significant difference. When I look at the Seymour Panther..my eyes are drawn to the font...modern,basic..and puts me off purchasing this set...how hard would it have been to choose a different font to reflect the Tudor era/design of this new set...it would have made a big difference.. imo and reading the comments on TSF this series is a 50/50 split whether to purchase this coin/series..not to mention the quality of the coins..and ive seen some with milkspots already... Regards.
  7. Yes that's the route the RM should have gone for regarding the font style....give me a job there.. I'd sort their designer's out and point them in a new fresh direction....😉😉😉😉😉
  8. Nice....I don't think much thought has gone into this new series of TB's if the RM really wanted to do something different...a beautiful Tudor font would have made a big difference to the value and collectable desire for these. But as always its...get these coins out fast so the RM can squeeze out evey penny from us who go mad over these sets...(Not me) I hasent to add.... But, I'm not a graphic designer or coin designer so what do I know?..but I believe they have dropped the ball big time by using a plain ,boring font on this series..🥱🥱
  9. I agree...if it was Tudor font it would be more eye appealing 🙂
  10. Yes a few available Again!!! November isn't a long time to wait if you really want one or add another..Westminster coins still have the 1oz for sale....delivery 12th Oct.....
  11. Thanks for your info..I was thinking that the premium would be higher..the fields are nice the date, rim look very nice..I have seen the wear but taking into consideration the age its gonna have wear..all sovreigns around this price do. Also that year no sovreigns were produced in England and the mintage is fairly low...around 2.5m that's including I'm assuming full sovs and those that might have been in sets. 1/2 sovs in the Victorian era were lesser produced than full. I've had a look around dealers sites and fleabay...I havnt seen any going for £200 if I had I would have jumped on them...average is £350-£480 some even more but in a higher grade. I'm in 2 minds about this one..I do like it and it's one I've been looking for..but with the new 2022 sov and the next Great Engravers coming out..my head is telling me to save my pennies..☺
  12. So you have the 1897 Sydney 1/2sov? What price was you looking for? Regards.
  13. Thanks..I havnt seen it yet in hand...I did mean GEF...I always thought GVF was a higher grade??
  14. Yes its OK to open..just use gloves, cotton if you handle it. I'd open it just to see if that long mark on the obverse isn't on the coin..looks like a milkspot streak.....hope its the capsule or just the lighting and not on the coin.🤔
  15. What's your opinion on the grade?
  16. I have purchased a few Sydney,Melbourne, no Perth yet...I've seen them cheaper but not in great condition...I would say its GEF I have dealt with this dealer before so have no worries on being genuine...just wasn't too sure about the price..
  17. Hi all just wanted an opinion on this coin. It's from my local coin dealer who has had it for a while at £400 offered to me for £360 around 2.5m mintage...I still think its a bit high..would appreciate your views Thanks.
  18. I agree..Great choice for a gift...but as its coming up to Christmas...faster than we know..the una and the lion..gold plated Christmas decoration would make a lovely gift..something different, and can be used for years to come.....,every Christmas 🎄
  19. Haha...imo they can't be beaten..I'm addicted..but will keep you in mind if I sell..🙂
  20. Very nice..just picked up a 2018/2019 2oz silver proof libbys...can't get enough of them.👍👍
  21. I wonder if you ordered this...took a photo of their advert stating 139.00 kg they would have to honour that as it would come under the law of false advertising if they didn't deliver what they are selling.....?????? Food for thought.🤔🤔
  22. I just looked the silver 1oz 1kg the 1oz oz 5oz Gold proof all back..available to order!!
  23. Is anyone who purchased the silver Seymour Panther now getting a bit worried about the condition it will arrive in..ie Milkspotting??
