Money is kind of like energy, it doesn't get used, it gets converted. Spending cash by buying silver or gold is not losing money, simply converting it to another form.

Yeah ditto that, and also for the words 'gay' ,'rainbow', 'cis', 'trans' etc...All these hijacked words and expressions which have been given new and sinister meanings by perverts of one variety or another really makes my blood boil..😡

...plus when the time is right silver tends to move up more violently than gold (this multiplier works downhill too!)
So you sit on it until it is time to flog it for some shiny rock perhaps, if gold/silver ratio drops below 40:1 for example
But it could be a long waiting game..

You are probably right financially but, to me, silver is a thing of beauty. I don't get that same buzz with gold. Pleasure has a cost.

I do so wish that people would use the term "woke" correctly. The term seemed to appear in the 1920's, in particular with the Black American communities. The term refers to being aware of the situation, to be awake to what is happening. Leadbelly sang about it in the 1930's. This is just another word that has been hijacked and corrupted.
As for coins being worthless, not a chance. There will always be collectors, there always has been, like a squirrel with nuts, hoarding is in the nature of the beast. Antiques, stamps, pottery, jewellery and more throughout time. Even Roman coins have a value. I wouldn't worry on that score.

Thanks.  I was sweating. When the clock turned 20:59, I started counting. 1, 2, 3 , 4 ........... and pressed the Send key at 45 🙂 phew. I grew up with Laika, Gagarin, Gemini, Apollo, collected stamps. I was, and am, a space buff. This will join my NASA bag. My better half still calls Apollo 11 Apollo 2 just to wind me up (Roman numerals).

Hello dear friends of silver. I would never have believed that this inconspicuous little coin would have such a career. The Czech lion as the first issue of 2017, minted by the Pressburg Mint in Bratislava. The series is still minted today with changing motifs. So I'll keep an eye on it myself. Sometimes you get lucky with your collecting. Have a nice day and greetings from Maxe.

There are some gems to be had. I recently purchased 8 coins, all legal tender in the UK, face value £20 each, cost a good bit less.
I have not yet sold any of my silver, I am just adding to it thanks to TSF, I rarely go outside.
