The box fits 8 sovs and 1 half. I may edit it further to fit a brit in aswell because why not. 
 
The sizer I saw another member with a similar one so made something similar however added a scale. 
 
 

My first, last, and only proof coin. The Coronation 1oz Silver proof received this week. I have to say, it's a stunning design. I love crests and shields on coins. It just feels like a real coin if that makes sense? 
Now I've spent the last hour just staring at it, looking for RM quality control issues, I can put it away in the safe. 
I am a bit surprised these are still available. I have no idea why, just look at it! Stunning.

My SotD arrived early this morning whilst I still had a full day of work to do. What a long day! Anyway, finally home to have a look at it, and it does not disappoint, stunning coin, the first time I've seen this finish on a Sovereign in the flesh.
I must say though that the packaging is a bit disappointing. The box and the capsule both seem a bit cheap. Surely it deserves the same presentation as the proofs?

 

SOTD just arrived. I've got to give TRM credit where credit is due because it has arrived in decent time and has no visible marks under initial close inspection (not that I'm too bothered about that considering what it is).

 
 

Looks like more of the SOTD Sovereigns have dropped.

Considering the demand I think the RM has done a pretty good job on delivery. That now only leaves 3 coins left from my orders, the 1/4 and 2oz gold and the 1Kg silver (from Britannia Coin), everything else has arrived.
Mind they did have 6 months to plan.

They're only £6.95, but as they're only available from the RME shop in Wales the only practical way for most people to get one will be to buy one on eBay/Facebook/etc. The cheapest I've seen so far are about £12-£15 posted, so it's not too outrageous considering there is supposed to be a household limit of 3 medals.
I got mine yesterday when I went there to strike my own coronation 50p, which I later realised I struck within 10 minutes of the king getting crowned!

Well that's my SOTD sorted!

I'll be trying to pick up one of the full ounce golds as I think the design is great and is far better than the crown. Probably one of the inevitable sovereign sets too at a later date. Got to have a strike of the day as well. I'm glad I held off from making any new purchases for a few months.

Good things to come in threes!!!!!

I would be looking at what the Royal Mint did to celebrate the Platinum Jubilee, and expect them to do something similar for the Coronation.
It seems as if there will be a sovereign SOTD for £850.
I would be very surprised if there was not a £5 coin - even the 1953 Coronation was celebrated with a Crown (5/-)!
And I would not be surprised if there were other items as well.
What is frustrating is that we are less than a month away from the Coronation and the Royal Mint's plans are still so vague.  Some of their items are going to be very expensive but they just expect their customers to fork out large amounts of cash at a drop of a hat.

Looks good overall, but the rim/edge is a little disappointing with some scratches and wordings that are not aligned in the center (some parts higher some parts lower) 🙄

2022 Memorial sovereigns.
Not waiting to tempt fait, I've got results back on 21 of these all different sizes back from the NGC and only 1 1/2 has come back a 69 the other 20 have all got PF70UC.    This is purely for information only
