in 2020 we saw the extent to which the public adults and old people (that should be wise) act off emotion & depend on external sources to make decisions.
Very dangerous indeed - I'm 40 and have worked very hard to free myself & now im out of the box I cant believe how thick everyone is.

Maybe thats a bit harsh - trusting and obedient to thier conditioning & dead to thier inner self & ignorant to intuitive knowing..

I know this is a gold thread but do you think Palladium is undervalued now??
I have not gone there due to internal combustion engines being removed.
Cant believe its almost at Platinum levels? A cheeky £500 in a ETF might be in order is my thinking.

No - just good mints from my point of view for 3 reasons:

    - it will sell quicker and hold value
    - it wont tarnish or go bad as much.
    - If you get all the same they will stack neater & you can sell them all in one go at a set price.

I bought a few Nadir last year and although they are assayed fine, I swapped them out for 1kg Umicores on a 15kg deal.

Holding a bog standard bar (Unicore (for example)) makes sense - thats what i have.
No harm getting a few that are more premium - I have a 20oz Scottsdale Kitkat - wont harm anyone.
My shiny ones flew out the door the other month - cant remember the name - but northern irish.

To add to that the vintage bars tend to sell well & have a premium price.

Stacktastic got a reaction from ChrisSilver in Lego collecting thread
As the title says Im looking at collecting lego & as it happens we have been given a ton of new lego.
I have not event looked at it yet.

Just wondering what to look out for and an ongoing thread to see what people have bought.
I dont really want to fill my house with c**p, but im now set on the collectible longer term mind set to go with the metals.
It wont make me rich, but it holds its value. I sold a back to the future book, poster and stuff in 2020 for about double what I paid for it in 1990's
I was a bit miffed, but actually given inflation an all the BS it was a good investment to store value & generally is quite risk free given you buy the right stuff.
I have also been given a number of quite valuable vinyl, so long those lines really as the tangible will do well in some areas I think.

Im starting a few threads like this with regards to things I am considering collecting.
Its coming in a good time for this as people will be struggling going forward - 20-30 year investment really.

Or Spain/Morocco - Chilli like they did Hitler, Martin Borrman & entourage.

I dont know about you guys but I am reasonably empathic with the news and I see this thing with Russia as a smoke screen.
Not sure on the motives, but maybe a initial end to this conflict so the world leaders can then move to China/Tawain narratives.
Call me a theorist, but all of these world affairs seem very much centrally planned & coordinated now since 2020.
The CBDC's are the end game of a lot of this when/if tech catches up with the all encompassing digital reality.

Its been too quiet IMO & black swan event should/might occur in this crazy reality by the end of 2023.
Stocks are melting up, media stuff is quite frankly bonkers AI is making up news stories all on its own!
& people now dont trust any of it (on the whole). The hall mark of a once a century black swan or several??

    Gold (on topic)
Markets will tumble but gold will shoot to higher highs I think??
I saw a respected person predicting $20k gold within 10 years.
With inflation also I have to say I can agree, although only for a short time.
The acceptance of $3000 gold is certainly possible by 2025 if not 2024 now.

I have ben recommending anything commodities to my group - even semi conductors (not now though). 😛
    Precious metals 100%.

Hello Im starting to expand my tangible & collectible assets & I constantly hear about Pokemon cards.
Can any one give me an idiots guide to investing in these things, mainly the top ones to look for & where to get them please.

Other information relating to quality, correct storage or what ever would also be valuable,
but I guess they are just cards at the end of the day and not a bottle of vintage wine.
