  1. It isn't you but if you read through all the previous listings for The Legendary Aladeen™ you'll see it 👍🏼
  2. Can't confirm or deny but have seen Timothy Noad taking some pictures of this. The Magnificent Mouse From Within The M25
  3. Thanks mate 👍🏼 There was a Gazette notice for it in July I think. We should be due a notice for the 4th bullion one soon I reckon that should be later in 2023 too 🐮🐮🐮🐮🐮🐮
  4. If you're paying by bank transfers or cards then it's all already monitored and traceable, whether or not there is an entity overlooking you can decide for yourself. Most banks and companies have digital records which a computer could easily search and flag any outliers or anomalies for someone to investigate further. Your online accounts and activities can be linked to your devices and so on, if you were a specific target of an investigation then it would all be there. If you're buying in cash peer to peer less easily traced but that also has other risks and in theory could still be matched up to other people's records in some cases
  5. That's his point I think? To me the OP implies he'd rather spend less than £10k with each dealer.
  6. From a verification of the metal point of view, I imagine almost any dealer would verify the gold even if you had a letter from the Queen saying it was genuine. Many flaws with this like if I have a genuine invoice for 10 best value bullion sovs I could still be trying to sell 10 counterfeit sovs that weren't those purchased. Maybe one day if we end up stuck in digital currency land and you need to prove the price you paid for something when you come to sell, or else get taxed on the whole amount automatically it would be useful to have a record but I still don't think a piece of paper from a random will count for much if you're paying via online banking anyway. I'd keep a record of what you bought when and the price paid and who or where from but wouldn't worry beyond that

    Random Rant

Closed my accounts with them last year. Similar issues to you. Barclaycard just as bad.
  8. Alright pipe down. Could have done it gently but you had to double my bid... I'm out. Actually £4
  9. Some more sensible options. Check behind the sofa cushions Sell a kidney.
  10. Just borrow the next month's from the month afters 🧐
  11. The key to a good listing is multiple photos and a piece of paper with your username and date. That could unlock a few extra £ of profit.
  12. Anything over 1064°C might melt them If you're keeping in capsules or tubes though they might have a lower melting point?
  13. I know a webuygold type guy who scraps anything 😥😥
  14. Premiums and margins fluctuate with dealers it seems. It depends a bit on what you're buying and how many of them too as to which will be most cost effective
  15. Fairly normal for bullion yes. If you get something like this then probably send the dealer a message though
  16. Anyone fancy buying at these prices? Top is 1969 and bottom 1965 Seaby's catalogue
  17. You must have me confused with someone else
  18. A couple of today's arrivals and something from my change
  19. If it were silver Britannia's somewhere around 15 to 16 for a sov would roughly match prices on here. I don't personally want to swap any of my sovs for silver though so it isn't an offer 👍🏼
  20. Not Wetherspoons prices those I don't think
  21. Probably even have the cheek to crease the COA. Got it in my change. Copper though years back so worth more than 2 pence as scrap perhaps?
