  1. The satisfaction of getting it right 😁👌🏽 Well done
  2. You don't have to be right 100% of the time you just need solid risk management. You could be great 👍🏼
  3. B of E release the monthly data on this here https://www.bankofengland.co.uk/statistics/money-and-credit/2023/january-2023 Another way of looking at it is individual banks financial reports. For eg Lloyds I've linked below. Page 177 you can see Balance sheet and under Liabilities section 'customer deposits' of £269 mil slightly up from 2021 https://data.fca.org.uk/artefacts/NSM/Portal/NI-000069748/reports/H7FNTJ4851HG0EXQ1Z70-2022-12-31-T01.html
  4. More or less nothing on the days mentioned but the months and years following quite a climb yes 👀📈
  5. https://www.reuters.com/article/us-bearstearns-chronology-idUSN1724031920080317 Take a look at this timeline and compare it to the gold price charts at the time....
  6. What about a big tech company buying a bank? Integration into their social media or other platforms 🤔
  7. 5 in the run I mentioned yes, not if you look at every date and mint mark combo though To elaborate there's 5 dates I need between now and 1887. Prior to that, the Young Victoria years I've got about a tube of shields and about a tube of St George reverse but haven't tallied up which dates and mints. I definitely haven't been very efficient but I think it's more important to have good quality coins than buy lower quality just to fill the dates so there's a lot of duplicates and I often buy best value. It's a long term side project 😁
  8. What coin/bar/ precious metals item are you patiently waiting to add to your collection? Maybe you haven't had one come up at the right price or you keep missing out on or they're incredibly rare, maybe just saving up I'll start 2001 bullion sov The last Elizabeth date for my bullion sovereign date run. Once I tick that off there's only 4 others from today back to 1887
  9. Has anyone made an Inverse Jim Cramer ETF yet? 🤔
  10. @GoldDiggerDave no way 🧐🧐🧐 He actually was recommending SVB a month ago https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=vw9IZ7_8XCw
  11. Is Jim Cramer a member of the forum? Wonder what he reckons 😏
  12. Yeah thought I'd ask just incase. Silver not very high up on my shopping list but they seem 'cheap' for eagles
  13. https://atkinsonsbullion.com/silver/silver-coins/1oz-silver-coins/pre-owned-usa-eagle-1oz-silver-coins-in-tube-vat-free-(20-coins)?pid=27421 Anyone still buy silver on here? Sub £500 for tubes of 20 ASE @theman73
  14. It's got a hiding today. £ holders shielded from the full brunt of it at least
  15. Silver getting a hiding today almost 5% down in dollar terms. GBP down Vs the dollar too which has shielded pound holders a little from the full brunt of it
  16. So far since the post started we had a bit of a rally to £17.67 but now back below £17.... And so it continues
  17. #12 but if somehow I win can you send the prize to whoever is after me with #13 Edit @Thelonerangershorse it is
  18. If there is such a thing as cost effective silver bullion? 🤔 Probably look at @theman73 sales posts. He's consistently got stock and deals with varying order sizes. There are others on the forum too and sometimes random members just selling a few so you might get lucky.
  19. Thought I remembered it being the same time for Yale and Lion 🤔 It'll come Yeah obvs not for the Panther but the other two
  20. He's eyeing up that broccoli plant though. Must have been watching Popeye and wants to even out those forearms by eating his greens
