We have today banned a new member who was found to be abusing/manipulating the trading feedback system to create false feedback on trades that never took place on TSF.

The decision to ban was also made as we also believed that this person could have posed a potential trading risk to TSF members. TSF prides itself on having one of, if not the, most honest online marketplaces for trading precious metals. This year alone there have been over 5046 new trade topics started, with many trade topics containing huge lists of precious metals items for sale. Many thanks for those members who choose to buy and sell on TSF.

I always wanted this. 

We like the Technics, but it's not traditional Lego is it?

As the title says Im looking at collecting lego & as it happens we have been given a ton of new lego. 
I have not event looked at it yet.

Just wondering what to look out for and an ongoing thread to see what people have bought. 
I dont really want to fill my house with c**p, but im now set on the collectible longer term mind set to go with the metals. 
It wont make me rich, but it holds its value. I sold a back to the future book, poster and stuff in 2020 for about double what I paid for it in 1990's
I was a bit miffed, but actually given inflation an all the BS it was a good investment to store value & generally is quite risk free given you buy the right stuff. 
I have also been given a number of quite valuable vinyl, so long those lines really as the tangible will do well in some areas I think. 

Im starting a few threads like this with regards to things I am considering collecting.  
Its coming in a good time for this as people will be struggling going forward - 20-30 year investment really. 

 

OK, will move back to the U.K. section. You may wish to quote prices in GBP rather than euros as may help your sale. Though I understand if you have a EUR bank that can’t receive GBP. (If so, something like wise might be useful for the buyer when sending funds)

Also to clarify: the SuperLike, SuperThanks and SuperLOVE reactions counting for 3,3,10 points respectively are an increase from before. Previously SuperLike, SuperThanks, and SuperLOVE, affected reputation points by 3,3,10 but only 1 rank point was awarded each time irrespective of what reaction was used. So even a member received lots of SuperLikes and superLOVES they would only count as 1 point towards your rank points each time.
So although the amount of points required for the higher tiers has increased, the rate at which you can gain rank points has also increased.
You will now receive more rank points for receiving these reactions.

I understand that some members may be upset by the change in rank points required to reach each level, and that they take their rank very seriously. It wasn’t possible to keep users’ existing ranks unfortunately, as the system affects all users’. Please do remember that at the end of the day it’s just a bit of fun and the ranking system is only used for fun  
Please do not bring negativity onto the forum, the ranking system is just for fun and should be treated as so 😊
