For auction: An Iranian 1 Bahar Azadi, featuring the portrait of Ayatollah Khomeini - the leader of post-revolutionary Iran. A chance to own a beautiful piece of modern Middle-Eastern history!

 

This piece was struck in 1994 (1373), in 8.13g of .900 (90% pure) gold.

This is a nice example, with mint lustre still present. It would fit snugly into any world gold collection, but could also suit the sovereign collector, at 22mm diameter.

 

Start me off at £1. We'll go in increments of £1, to avoid any complicated mathematics.

We will finish at 7pm on Thursday 14th September.

Buyer to add their own choice of postage.

I'd say, extend it, these bad boys are not mainstream. I've been burned trying 1 day and flash auctions with them, make it a 3-4 day auction which then also gives time for more people to ponder it and for the non premium members to see it

It's better to extend the auction until Wednesday evening, just in case...

My heart is crying to see a beautiful gold coin selling at auction on TSF under spot. None of us deserve this, mate! This coin should go at minimum equivalent of a good looking sovereign.
