When is the 2023 Sovereign revealed/issued?

In normal years the 2023 Sovereign would have been released a few months ago, typically the first/second week of January.

Due to the 2022 Memorial Sovereign being released in that spot, this year it's late, so no one knows for sure when the 2023 Sov will be out. It will almost certainly be around the coronation though, so I'd say anytime in the next 4 - 6 weeks we'll hear something.

At last, back to normality! - Pistrucci’s G&D, which is more traditional for a ‘Coronation’ set, 1902/1911 etc. Certainly nothing like the 2005 version as someone has imagined, as there’s no broken spear section on the ground….

A special design could be done on the Silver Crown. After all, why does the Sovereign have to be lumbered with all the ‘commemoration’ issues?…..

Ah well what you don't know is that it's a fragmented design spread over all the coins. The spear and the dragon are on the £5 coin.

The horse's phallus is on the quarter sovereign. 😁
