They have to figure out the most environmental friendly way to pack the items hence the delay .

Can't say I am really umming about the regular 3 coin set ...because I am still crying that I didn't move fast enough for the 3 coin premium (got on a sort of standby list only)! 

But on the 3 coin it's down to the last 74. Down to 1657 on the regular sovereign. Still a bit grumpy about the price relative to the QB Lion ( which is already a beautiful finish) but I feel compelled to buy a single 2017 proof to keep up with the unique designs. 

Also it's a bit cheeky of Chards - will they start charging more than RM next week I wonder?! Free market I guess.

I have to say my first impression is I'm really underwhelmed, the design looks very small

I will have no problems parting with it for a profit in the future

I had no email to say it was coming, was a surprise, so maybe yours is on the way

The last email I got said "Thank you for ordering from the Royal Mint. Your order is subject to availability."

Double sovereign 1,400 (only in the 5 and 3 coin premium set)

The sovereign 13,050 (only in 5 coin, premium 3 coin, 3 coin and single sets)

Half sovereign 5,150 (as above)

Quarter sovereign 5,100 (only in 5 coin, 3 coin and single sets - N.B. Not in premium 3 coin set which comprises the double sovereign, the sovereign and the half sovereign)

Now looking forward to getting a look at the 5 and 3 coin premium sets with those big ole double sovereigns and 5 piece sovereign in them.....should be arriving sometime later in the month. The classic design should really stand out on them.

@Kman - and there was I just about to order mine, but now you give me reasons to pause!☹️

Which bit of the design disappoints you ? Like @Oldun says , maybe you need the bigger ones to see the design.  Grrrr.
