You might want to take some off the table, 3 Bitcoin = 133grand

What does the future look like to you once all the bitcoins are mined? Currently there is a obvious reaction to the market when the whales get involved, is it not possible that in the end it's probably going to be all owned by the 1%?

I would have made a nice profit today if i sold Shiba , but i'm just hanging on for the fun. The problem i see is people see huge gains to be had and take out loans to chase it. Like people have said, it's all manipulated by the billionaires. If it goes higher or crashes it'll be the billionaires who will be the winners .

Fair play to you about picking a winner. You must have a good eye on what has been hashtaged trending.

It's only a winner when you cash out and make a profit. And the nature of the beast is you dare not cash out for fear of missing out on higher gains. 😆

I don't look at it as Crypto vs Gold, I think it's better as Crypto and Gold.

Then the individual decides on their risk appetite and puts both into their portfolio in a % according to that risk appetite.

As long as the bulk of your fiat is tied into whatever you believe in, go for it, you could also include cars in the mix, some of those have grown in value nicely, heck I've even got a 1956 jukebox in our hallway I bought for £120 over 40 years ago - it's all about assets you can both enjoy and, with luck, seeing an increase in value is a great bonus.

A society grows great when old men plant trees whose shade they know they will never sit in.

I don’t get crypto, but I didn’t get Amazon, apple etc ..  fortunately my fund manager did.   The so called green fund in any pension portfolio these days is basically Amazon, alphabet, apple and Tesla.      Much to my annoyance Bitcoin doesn’t cut it on the green fund.   Mutter moan.
