This is my pet peeve with the royal mint, i really hate the branded envelopes with coins on them! its a security risk.

You're lucky. I've just received a pretty pamphlet from the Mint telling me all about the Snowman coins.

@MintageSeller If you like to collect brilliant uncirculated coins in well presented Royal Mint packages then maybe yes. It's a personal choice but in reality it's only worth its 50p face value as it's not made from a precious metal. The Snowman is not my thing but there's a separate topic on the silver coin version under the Silver Listings category if you want to pose the same question to the forum members there.

50p is 50p... the silver version in colour is quite nice.. but not many people like to have colour in their coins, however, the snowman seems to be bucking the trend.

Best to opt out of mailing lists.. do ur own research on coins you want to invest in rather than the Royal Mint or any other organisation telling you what you want/ought to buy.
