i only think in USD for prices but from memory the best i have bought for in recent years is £12 something from STG. i cannot see it going below £10 ever.

A tyranny relies on propaganda and force. Once the propaganda fails all that's left is force.

just watching the price closely over the last two weeks, the price fell steeply ,then rose slightly but the price at the bullion dealers didnt change.

same with gold.

i think chards had an Australian sovereign at £222 despite gold price falling and rising

guess there is only so low a price will go

so if it did go under £10 spot we would still be paying much the same price at the dealers as we are now, that is not good, it should be passed on to the consumer

For a while.  When the price drops the premium goes up ... for a while.  Later it comes down.

I don't think the price will drop to that level  before xmas, however I think that precious metals will be price  trending down.I base this on the Fed will continue to increase interest rates. The Dollar will continue to be strong in relative terms against the other fiat rubbish.President Donald Trump will be elected for a second term.

The stock market and property bubble will continue

The US economy will appear to be strong, people will feel safe and believe that everything is hunky dory.

Precious metals will fall of the radar, forgotten and unloved.

So I am hoping for a sub £10 per oz silver, over the next 3 years as this will allow me to keep buying silver even more cheaply.

 I  highly recommend

That would be amazing, we can only hope.

Sub-10$us/oz gold silver, I'd love to see that again in my lifetime but I doubt that is going to happen, they've simply printed too much money, but I could see sub-10£uk easily.  The markets will decide.

Probably won't see £10.

Wouldn't surprise me if we've just seen the bottom, when you pointless questions asking "how low?" then its a fair bet that the unwashed masses are looking in the wrong direction.

The unwashed masses, don't invest in Precious Metals. And the OP question was not pointless.I don't think disrespecting new members who are probably new to investing in PMs. Is going to make them feel welcome on the Silver Forum.

yes, but only for short periods of time.

(companies don't immediately go bust on negative price

fluctuations)

my guess is sub £10 won't happen.

HH

I'm also thinking along the lines of increase in oil prices and interest rate hikes.  Both of which will have effects on the production cost of silver whether it comes from actual silver mines or mines where the silver is a by product.

This is why I have just suddenly taken an interest in silver.  My own thought is that (or hope) it can't realistically get ant lower.

£10 could easily happen. But it could just as easily not happen.

No one has a crystal ball, but if you are agonising whether to pull the trigger to buy now or wait for a price that might never come then you are asking the wrong question.
