What’s everyone’s view on the Star Wars coins then ?

I’m looking at getting a couple of the Star Wars silver coins but I’m wondering what people think of them ? Do you think they will be worth getting I’m thinking that they could go up a lot in value but not sure

queen mother coins worth more than star wars in long term (10 years + especially good condition+ earlier years) when you compare the original purchase price

Personally - if you can pick them up as cheap as other cheap bullion silver coins you cannot go much wrong.

As far as retaining premiums though I am unconvinced these are a long term winner.

In less I find a die hard Star Wars fan ! But I haven’t seen any particularly cheap so might give them a miss for now

if u like the coin maybe u can give them a go, some coins I like I will buy 1 of each , they maybe 18 pounds something like that .

if spot is 12 pounds then u only pay 6 pounds for a toy

Im confused with them all, I've seen the Darth Vader and Stormtrooper ones, but im unsure if these are the only two in this series or a new series?

i have one or two early ones i bought from a forum member as part of a larger purchase. Morezone is keen on this theme. There are collectors. i would not collect them unless you are keen on collecting them yourself. They don't strike me as a theme that will make you profits.

I bought a prof Yoda in n my early stages of stacking. I think it’s in the running for my worst buy, neck and neck with my Terminator T800.

The square coins are doing very well, in particular the 2017 Niue 40th anniversary. I had to pay €188 for one recently. And that was the cheapest around. I know it'll cover the cost of the other coins the series, but damn, it shot up in price overnight.

I'm a massive Star Wars fan so I'm definitely thinking about collecting all the star wars silver over time. However, I know I need to be careful as I could easily pay too much.

I've all to-date New Zealand 2 Oz ultra high relief silver coins. I personally think this is the best of the series, most are done well and others not so.

There's even a Darth Vader miniature statue. Quite pricey but looks Good.

Agree with @Groundup, the 2oz High Relief Coins are probably the best in the series.

I love star wars (my forum name may also indicate i like starwars) 

However i personally have no intention of owning such coins, nor do i think they will hold any "numismatic" value.

If you can get the Niue Stormtroopers or early Darth Vader for cheap, I think they'll be worth it long haul.  I've gotten them a few times for under $20.
