  1. Any idea when this is due?
  2. I know its stating the obvious, but judging by the beak I'd say it's an albatross - so a trophy for hitting a 3 under?
  3. That's really bad. Even for RM. The guts of 2k for that level of quality is incredible. Hope you get a solution you're happy with.
  4. And the milking hasn't even started yet...
  5. Good for you mate. I wish I had the foresight to start stacking at 23! I read on this forum about guys picking up sovereigns for 50 quid and silver for a fiver an ounce and I kick myself. In 20-30 years you will have an eye watering amount of precious metal that will serve you and your family well. To answer your question - if the 3 coins on the bottom were silver you could expect to pay around the £15-£18 pound mark each. They aren't worth much more than the silver in them, as mentioned above they were knocked out in colossal numbers.
  6. The Queens Beasts, the Fast and the Furious of the coin world😂, they just dont stop making them...
  7. Hi Lenny, happy birthday. If you do a search of previous posts/topics you will find plenty versions of this question have been asked and answered already by far wiser and more serious stacker/collectors than me. I have been at this with varying degrees of seriousness for about 3 years or so and if I could go back I'd tell myself to have a focus rather than just buying a bit of everything. If I were you I'd get some empty tubes for the coins you plan to stack (place a wanted ad on the forum - they'll cost a couple of quid each) be it Brits, Eagles, Maples, Phil's, Maples or Krugs - I'd stick to one of these. If your budget is £30/month then I'd either pick up one a month from Atkinsons pre owned or save for say 6 months and buy 6-8 at a time - this forum will probably be your best bet for that. If you can afford more than £30/month then I'd do that too, but dont spend what you cant afford. I say get tubes because it gives you a focus and it's nice to see your tube fill up, and when it is full you will have a fair old chunk of silver in your hand. Then start another. It's pretty addictive though... Good luck and have fun.
  8. I feel your pain. I bought the Unicorn when it came out (I'm Scottish...) thought it was pretty steep at £38, and thought it would have been much better as a larger coin instead of a piedfort. So never bought any more. Wish I had now, and I regularly talk myself in and out of getting them. Have resisted so far...
  9. Or if you Really want one, just wait 6 months and get it for 30 quid on the secondary market.
  10. No errors unfortunately, but I was lucky enough to pick up RM lunar horse mule for spot a couple of years back. Probably used up all my luck then.
  11. A couple of 1935 crowns from @ilovesilverireallydo. Best username on the forum IMO - sums up how most of us feel...😁 Paid for yesterday lunchtime, through my letterbox this morning, great service. Not rare, not special, but I really like them. Might have a new obsession for a while.
  12. After my Rocking Horse Crown and Peace Dollar a couple of days ago I have returned to my normal MO with some more shiny. A spot on 1986 ASE which was a gift, the Perth Next Gen. 2oz Platypus, 2 more Phils for the tube and I am now the last person in the civilised world to get an Una bar. I love this Next Generation series, really underrated I think, great design and great quality as you'd expect from PM. And only 4 short of a full tube of Phils now... this will be my first (of hopefully a few) full tubes.
  13. Out and about with my oldest boy today. Went to the local antique place which usually has a few coins. Picked up these. Really like these. This is my first one. It's a bit grubby bit otherwise in great shape. Another first for me. A little worn on the reverse, but OK. It's a Denver mint. Dealer wanted £40 for the pair which was OK, but chanced my arm and offered £38 if he chucked in this... And he did. Out and about in the sunshine picking up bargains. Happy days. Almost feels like normal again.
  14. If I was spending £300ish a month solely with an eye on the long term I'd alternate between a sovereign and 10oz silver. Bit of a balance and both easy sells when the time comes.
  15. No problem. I'll pay the postage if you throw in the metals for free then.😁
  16. He flipped those silver coins.....
  17. Wow. Bet your dealer is a happy bunny tonight... But probably not as happy as you. Impressive handful of gold there.👍
  18. Last few days of shiny deliveries. The Kong/Godzilla (for the kids😁😁) Poseidon cos it's cool and 2 Phils for the tube, that's 16 now. This will be my first full tube, the kid in me is quite excited.
