That's awful. You'd think they would have the decency to contact you before cancelling the whole lot. I have very limited experience dealing directly with RM, but I must say I am utterly unimpressed with them. I hope you manage to pick up what you wanted at a decent price. Good luck.

Nice buy. I love this sort of story - I was lucky enough a year or so ago to get the 2014 year of the horse mule coin for less than spot. It's these little wins that are the most fun I think. Well done.

Just wanted to echo the gratitude expressed by @dicker for the efforts of @trp for giving up the time to put the Christmas draw together. It is much appreciated. I was lucky enough to get drawn with @BackyardBullion who has very kindly agreed to make me a mirror bar. My first year too! TSF is probably the best fiver a month I spend. I had a similar chat with RM earlier today. Must say I'm not happy. When I ordered at 09.30 on release day, it quite clearly said despatch time 2-3 days. From 2-3 days to a month... most of us would lose our jobs for that sort of performance.

Hi, welcome. Firstly, the Alfred coin - not for me. Buy it if you like it, but if it makes you a profit in the next 10 years I'll double it for you. (Up to a fiver!!!) Seriously though, @stefffana has done a couple of good, considered posts regarding making long term profits from silver. They are worth a read. Good luck whatever you choose.

Seeing all these coins that have been sent back already makes me a bit worried. I haven't received my sovereign yet. Worried that I'm going to get sent someone else's return. If I get anything at all that is... This was my first purchase direct from RM as well as my single biggest outlay to date, and it would be fair to say that I'm not loving it so far! Still, hoping for the best...

Me too. Single sovereign. Pending payment on my card now dropped as well. Might phone them tomorrow - just to keep them on their toes! I'm fairly sure it'll all work out, but its is really frustrating.

Lucky you. I was in from 8.30am, 1600th in the queue, sat until 9.40 and dont even have my sovereign yet! Swings and roundabouts I suppose.
