This week I have received 10 2oz Turtles from STG (beautiful coins), 5 Mixed year half sovereigns from Atkinson's and 4 Half Sovereigns from Sovereignsteve. Thanks again to Steve for my first shield halves.
Dates of the half sovereigns - Top row (from sovereignsteve) 2002 shield, 1892 shield, 1898, 1912. 
Bottom row (from Atkinson's) 1911, 1905, 1897, 1897, 1901. 
Now I am broke until around March-ish but it was worth it

First delivery from STG for me - very happy with delivery, price etc.  Can see myself getting hooked on this!

Nothing too impressive but ordered one of these little beauties from coininvest today
 

Something a bit different - a few lovely old square silver dirhams dating  from the Almohad dynasty that ruled over North Africa and Southern Spain from 1130-1269. 20p for comparison allows you to see the detail and size! Just fun to have when we all think of early Victorian coins as "old"..

In Blackpool so popped into Chards. Got them to match Baird's delivered price on the Lunar Monkey and couldn't resist picking up the Rooster Rabbit. Was a fair price.
 

I would love some silver bars but cant bring myself to pay the taxes. 

Today I bought a 2007 Solomon Islands silver proof ten dollar Royal train coin. Similar in shape to a 50 pence piece and is sterling silver. 
Not a usual choice of coin but it has got an image of a class 67 loco that I have worked on.
I'm sure I could sell it for a small profit to a spotter but I'll most probably keep it.

A 1909 Indian Head gold $5. Not slabbed, so could be a bit of a lottery on the condition.  Will post pics next month when I get it from the US. That's 1908 and 1909 done - a few more to get! 
 
 

Today I bought 5 x Canadian multi maple 1.5oz coins from Abbotsilvercoins.
Put a 1oz maple beside them for reference to the thickness.
I prefer this size coin to the 1oz version as it has a more solid feel to it.
Got them at a great price too. Cheers David :-)

500g silver bar, 1/10 gold kru. Also ordered the next star trek coin the voyager one. I am hoping to god the last coin in the series isnt the enterprise from the most recent series...that sucked so badly...
