A day to forget in terms of a fruitless trail for PM’s yesterday.  Huge prices at the auction I visited; a ridiculous encounter with a dealer who agreed a price with me on a George III Sovereign, then reneged. Thank goodness I found these two attractive Silver coins at a tat shop. 

Today I unpackaged a few coins for my newest project - a collection of world silver  Bullion coins. All pcgs so far grades 70. The plan is to make a plaque to hang on my wall to display them.

Well if you ever want to know the location of that antiques centre let me know but I will check that they are still there for sale first on my fortnightly homage to the place, I replied to your PM earlier mate.

A lot of countries had silver coins pre 68. Some even after. Always worth digging through.

I haven’t but ms63 is one of the highest grades and sell for £60-100.

I would love a near mint one of each of these (2 & 5 marks), I used to have loads of these kicking around decades ago, but they were not that good condition, what % silver were they ?

They are 625 silver.

34 of 5 and 27 of the 2 of these controversial Reich coins. Aim is to stop at 50 on the 5, 100 on the 2, not too far off.
