  1. No reason why not if they have large unsold inventory. The chances are it wouldn't come to that as they will only strike a proportion initially then see how sales go before proceeding with the rest. Once orders sart being cancelled and maybe coins returned, their sales/stock will reach equilibrium and they won't strike any more. They will have their monitoring methods. At some point in the future they will have draw a line, close the issue and hopefully declare a mintage.
  2. Personally, I hope lots of people cancel their orders or return them later, so they have to melt down loads and crush the boxes. Hopefully leaving a total mintage of just the ones I have!😎 It might teach them a lesson, greedy sods.
  3. to be fair, I thought the plat jub sovs' quality was exceptional (for thr RM😁)
  4. I did hear that one account manager couldn't guarantee a 5 coin set to all her clients.
  5. yes I always thought they would start getting these out a lot sooner than 12 weeks. Just covering themselves I guess.
  6. well the way things are, unless we have a major financial disaster, they're better than money in the bank.
  7. I've spent far too much but I'm still restless. Not used to seeing more buying opportunites this late in the day. Can't be a good sign😐
  8. Interesting, but a dealer and out of stock. I sometimes they put the price up in these situations to flush out a few sellers! One went on the bay a month ago for 550
  9. The old ones are the best, now don't ask me whether I'm referring to the joke or the teller!😎
  10. I suspect that initially all the coins they have struck on the first run will be "in stock". Once these are sold, the next run will be "available to order" until sold out. The website sometimes takes a while to refresh these. I noticed today, some were "available to order" on the main page but if you tried to add to basket, nothing happened. I assume they were actually sold out at that point.
  11. Good old Wonga, he gave us a load of laughs. Wish he'd come back😁
  12. @LawrenceChard I was not criticising😉 You have to make a profit and I appreciate your sterling work selling them at a discount over the years😁
  13. Prices not as good as other years. I guess your new relationship with the Mint means you have to keep them sweet. Or are you just up for making more profit?😄😎
  14. I thought you said you were embargoed until 9 am tomorrow!🤐
  15. It certainly looks a lot better than the matte sovereigns I've seen.
  16. just go in late, it'll be over in minutes
  17. I'm the other way on this; I can't stand the RM modern matte finished coins. I much prefered the BU finish of the 2017 £5 and SOTD sov.
