I have never really been a fan of fractional gold (except Sovereigns or Indian Heads), ... and never paid any attention to Chinese pandas.
So yesterday I broke my rules after seeing this playful panda, and bought my first Chinese gold : a 1/4 ounce 1985 gold Panda. Probably not my last either, now that I have started to look at the different panda designs!

The last 2 BU RAM Roos to complete the date run. I've taken them out of the cards so they can sit with the others and the cards will be stored with all the other coin packaging and bit and pieces.

Something a bit different - a few lovely old square silver dirhams dating from the Almohad dynasty that ruled over North Africa and Southern Spain from 1130-1269. 20p for comparison allows you to see the detail and size! Just fun to have when we all think of early Victorian coins as "old"..

A couple of nice aussie mint sovereigns in good nick.
A 1875S in EF+ grade (depends how much the edge nick depeciates it) and a 1884M in genuine UNC condition, pretty much as it left the mint.
