OK, we have the bars back from the assay office!
So, they will be winging their way around the country over the next few weeks and we will then be in a position to name a date for the draw to happen.
In the meantime I want to get the entries rolling in so that every few days we can make a nice big donation to The Red Cross

We are going to limit one prize per person to get as many winners as possible.

DRAW DATES
At this time we do not have a specific time for entries to close by and the draw date to happen. 
My best estimate is that we will be able to draw the winners in week commencing 11th April 2022.
As soon as we have firm dates set for this we will communicate out here on the forum.
But I felt it would be a good idea to get the entries rolling in so that we can make donations every other day to The Red Cross sooner rather than later. 
LIVE DRAWING THE RESULTS
I will be hosting a livestream on YouTube to draw the results using a random number generator. Exact details of this selection process will be shared in due course.

Cheers, yea I will probably pick one up as I want one for each year that I stack them but other than the one year of issue I will probably just go for low premium sovereigns for the rest of my stack.

I agree with this point, although I did buy one of the brand new 2022 sovereigns as I really like the design and wanted to keep it in good condition.  So if you are looking to buy two sovereigns, maybe get one 2022, and one for as inexpensive as possible.

Evening Guys,
I'm new to gold and thought that stacking a couple of 2022 gold sovereigns may be worth it due to the Jubilee design. I Googled for threads on the forum about this and saw some people say that they were planning to do the same too so I went off and checked the current list prices for second hand gold sovereigns from Chards for the other Jubilee years and the image below is what I found.
The 2011 St George sovereign is listed for more than the 2012 jubilee design and both the 2003 and 2001 regular St George sovereigns are listed for more than the 2002 jubilee designs. I know that stocking levels for the specific years will come into play for list prices but does anyone know of any specific unique thing about the those years that could put their list price the unique design years?
I am leaning more towards just adding more to my low premium sovereign stack now as I prefer the color of the older sovereigns anyway and they have a lower premium.

This is lining up to be an epic raffle for charity! 

UPDATE 16/3/22
Hey Everyone!
We had an amazing amount of donations come through in both physical and cash. 
With the cash I calculated £25/oz would be the price to pay for cash donations. 
I am happy to say that I have managed to source some melting silver today for £21.65 per oz!
This means that instead of the predicted 27.75 oz of silver I have managed to source 32 ozt instead!
Assuming all the physical donations arrive this means we will actually have a total of 52 ozt worth of silver. 
I have poured 5 big bars and submitted them today for laser hallmarking, their weight worked out to be about 48 ozt. 
So, I intend to have the remaining silver, approximately 4 ozt as part of the giveaway in most likely coin form that I will choose from my random box of coins featured on my channel. 
That means there will be most likely 9 prizes!

4x 1 oz coins!
More to come in terms of the raffle and entries.

Nice idea to maintain a run of them so to speak, with different pourers doing subsequent editions! Could this edition maybe be issue 1(?) and/or mention in some kind of etching that it is to commemorate the Ukraine crisis. Might give the bars a bit more specific meaning going forward?? 
Apologies if treading on toes or something in pipeline already, just a thought🤷.

UPDATE 15/3/22
We have now got 47 oz of silver donated.
With the cash transfers of £25/oz I am going to be buying some silver from the secondary market and this will actually yield a little more than 1 oz per £25 so our total is now complete.
A massive thank you to everyone who has donated. 
We will now be working on getting the raffle thread opened and look to the next stages of the project.
