The Americans are more into their bars as there's no VAT. According to them the sweet spot is 10oz in terms of premium/liquidity. There was a guy (Silver Seeker) who did a spreadsheet of this including his buy/sell and profit/loss on each size of silver. He said 10oz is the sweet spot but I can't find the video. It kind of works in the UK with 10oz bars but honestly considering you can buy 1oz Britannia coins (CGT-exempt) for the same premium as 10oz bars (not CGT-exempt), the bars don't make a whole lot of sense. If you happen to stack big silver bars (1 kilo +) in the UK and silver spot moons then you're liable for CGT, plus they are much harder to shift than 1oz coins or 10oz

100 oz bars are quite big - i had a few until they were lost in a tragic boating accident. They are kind of doorstop size below that nah, personally i don't see kilos as big and certainly not too big.

Like I said in previous message, can not see how to removed the coins without destroying both the pendants and chain. Thus they have to stay as they are or the jewellery part with be scrap gold.
You can take it to the jewellers and see what they will offer. This way, they will test it and you will know what carat gold you have

The forum software was incrementally updated, as this was a small update release and mainly contained a security patch we upgraded and didn't think there would be any issues.
There is however something (i.e. some custom plugin/application from our extensive list of modifications) that is causing some issues on TSF since we updated the forum software.
Some things may look different or not work currently whilst we try to locate and fix the issues. I had believed I had fixed the necessary ones yesterday but today there was issues again. There may also be some very short bursts of downtime whilst we are looking into this, apologies for the inconvenience caused we are working to fix it all.
