I did buy a 1oz bar to get melted down but the extended family member that was making them said its very difficult to melt then work with, so I sold the bar and put that towards it.
Mine is 8mm & 16g of platinum the Mrs is 4mm & 8g of platinum with I believe 0.2ct diamond.
We saw the designs we liked from goldsmiths and sent him the pictures and he got them nearly spot on 👍 and cost half the price what goldsmiths would have charged
