Land is risky when the revolting peasants have their way. But no one is safe at a societal meltdown, whatever your take on the "Deep State". Beware of TSF members who chant French Revolution 2.0 because they may well be the ones coveting your land, your gold, and your head.

I'm not massively clued up on these older ones, so I'll just post these here for people's enjoyment and to see if anyone has anything interesting to say about them.
They're both from the RM Douro shipwreck set and the luck of the draw is that the 1874 St George and the Dragon one is fairly low mintage (less than 520,713, but I have no idea how much less as that mintage is also shared with the shield design with the same date).
Raise 6? Unsure if that's interesting!
Double stamped R?

Since I live in the USA, I'm more likely to have my floorboards filled of bullets holes if there is a (armed)burglar.
I don't want my silver/gold full of bullets holes.

A 1953 circulation set (not sure if original or assembled, I have the proof set already), and some well-circulated cuties. There is an 1817 (lucky) and a lacquered 1887.
I had to clean the cuties. I know some would despair at removing their historical character, like century-old skin oil and saliva, coal, diesel, petrol, and someone's Christmas pudding. The second I put them in hot water it was all yellow and smelt like the London underground (especially the Northern line)
Hopefully they will re-tone in my cupboard.

SeverinDigsSovereigns reacted to dicker in "special" delivery - remember that the insurance is limited!
Quite.
Whilst I have not had a problem with RMSD - which for me has been faultless, I have had problems with other premium services - not PM related.
Nasty and unethical chicanery by large organisations companies is not that frequent but my experience is to follow regulatory processes (if they exist for service that is at fault).
Use ombudsman - with lots of evidence. You will win.
If not, and depending on the size of the problem:
- Threaten lawyers
- If no response, use lawyers. Ideally get a letter delivered at 3.30pm on a Friday with a strong threat of legal action to ruin someone’s weekend. Making sure you target someone with financial skin in the game with a company you have a problem with.
Post the Horizon scandal, people will be a little more “focussed” on behaving with integrity.

Great lil dip we are seeing but happening at the WRONG time for us peasants waiting for payday. Anyone who's been reluctant to buy this month should really consider now to make their purchases. I don't think this dip will continue until the end of the month week. But I hope so.

There's a few on TSF who have a passion in collecting the shield dates. Personally I don't fancy the victorian shields. Whatever floats ya boat!
You'll definitely spot them for sale quite frequently on the forum. They just get snapped up very quickly.
