Around 3000 or lower is when premiums really take place, with exceptions of course like modern GE gothics.

I don't consider 50k to be low mintage.  Would need to be less than 10k for me.
Though I don't think the Beskar bar is interesting enough to warrant a premium at all.  (I did buy one though lol).
I've got dragon bars from previous years but not keen on this years design.
As someone suggested above, just buy what you like...pop culture changes over time.  Mandalorian might all be forgotten about in 5 years time.

All else being equal I wanted to know if what mintage would be considered low to potentially charge a premium in the future? E.g. 2023 1oz Aussie Dragon Bars have a mintage of 250k, 2023 1OZ Beskar Bars have a mintage of 50k this year.

What are you in to? The Beskar bar design really does nothing for me, whereas I think the dragon bars are great. Buy what you like, if you’re not sure… buy both!🤔😮

Does anyone here accept payments via the BTC lightning network? Either in BTC itself or fiat?

I don't think you can go too wrong selling off deprecating possessions and using the funds generated to buy pms. Just be careful it doesn't turn into an obsession. It'd be no fun having a stack of gold and silver in a vault and bare floorboards and a candle at home.

    Hello Silver Forum,
Just wanted to introduce myself as a new member. I work in the bullion industry (though this is my personal account so I'll keep myself shrouded in mystery which I hope people will understand).
I've been a fan of the forum for a while so I thought I'd join up and add my knowledge and experience where I can, and fill in gaps with the vast wealth of knowledge shared here.
Currently I own a small amount of silver (I'm particularly fond of 10oz silver coins), but plenty of knowledge on gold too. I look forward to chatting in the future.

This guy is drinking some serious hopium if he thinks he can predict the future price of silver by drawing some lines on a chart.

    Hi one and all.
Glad to be here as a new stacker.
Having joined the forum a little while ago and accumulated a small amount of silver it's now time for me to up my game in the stacking stakes given the geo-political and economic mess that the world finds itself in.
I hope to call upon the wealth of knowledge that is available here on the forum when it comes to purchasing PM's.
    Thanks in anticipation.

This is the Royal Mail website calculator.
Special delivery is used often as it covers bullion I believe. The others do not insure bullion from my understanding.

Welcome. Have a good look round the forum to make sure the silver you are buying is easily sold on.

Recently started stacking silver. Definitely don't see it as a hedge against inflation. If you use a metric of M2 money supply/silver, Silver is down and I think gold is flat. I'm using silver as a way of taking custody of my some assets and not relying on a 3rd party. similar to holding private keys for BTC.
Something I did a few weeks ago was sell a few old electronic, games consoles, take the cash and buy silver.

Hello everyone, this is my first message, I am looking around in this FORUM and wonder how this new adventure will be!
I can't say I'm "new" to the collection of coins since I've started as a kid, thought I lost all my coins and forgot about collecting for 30 years, then found by miracle my coins again and since 2010 I have started a Euro collection that is still ongoing.
I am now looking into the realm of stacking/collecting silver coins and I tell you I am ruthlessly overwhelmed by your British Queen's Beasts series!
Nevertheless, I am virtually interested in all coins, so I am more than glad to share feelings and thought about coins and stacking as well. Given the level of knowledge and experience I see in this FORUM, I hope some of you will be willing to share and I will be very grateful! Cheers, batida.

Hello to everybody on this fine forum. A couple of you already know me from my wanted post, but this post really is just to explain abit about myself and just to say hi to everyone else.😃
So a little background, I’ve lurked on the forum a while but only recently became a member. I’ve toyed with the idea of investing in PM for some time now. I’m not actually new to investing, as I’ve invested in stocks and shares for the past 4-5 years and I’ve always paid into my company pension since starting work at the tender age of 16 (currently 26 this year). I’ve recently started paying into a SIPP too, so hopefully I’ll see the benefits of that in another 30 years time!
My PM strategy will probably change over time depending on the availability of funds. But at the moment the goal is to purchase a full sovereign every other month, or possibly every month depending on my salary. I’m aiming to purchase bullion grade sovereigns in good condition at the moment, but may be open to purchase some proof examples for special years if one comes up at the right price. (Born in 1997!)
Again hello to all members, old and new. I am looking forward to interacting with everyone over the coming months regarding all things PM.

  19. Thanks

Thanks for your answers. Hopefully RM find a solution.
The Lightning Network sits on top of the BTC Network and allows faster cheaper transactions and you can send fiat, provided you have the right wallet.

    Hello and welcome on forum!
    1. Milk spots are inevitable.. All the years are more or less affected.  Not only with 1oz Britannia, a lot of mints have the same problem. But, good news: a milk spotted coin is a genuine one!😜
Because the casted silver bars seems to not be affected by milk spotting, probably it is a residual chemical product used to clean the blanks or dies of minted coins/bars. Nobody knows exactly why and when will appears on your shiny coins. We need to live with this. Personally, I am not bothered by milk spots, even others are very upset.
    2. I have seen few forum members accepting BTC as payment, but only a few. Usually, the accepted payments are in bank account or PayPalFF. I don't know what is GBP via the lightning network, so I can not answer.
    3. Yes, there are lots of conspiracies around, but try to stay away. Just buy how much you can afford, have a good budgeting plan, build your stack step by step, wisely, try to not pay huge premiums for your metals. Try to read on forum, there are more informations about coins, bars, precious metals and good advices as in a library. Don't be afraid to ask any questions. You will find on here very friendly people happy to help.
I would suggest you to upgrade your membership to have immediate access to see the sale posts. There are very often good bargains and are selling in minutes. As a regular member, you can see the sale posts only after three days, usually after they are completed. The silver membership will cost you only few pounds monthly, but you can save a lot of money buying gold and silver at good prices from another forum members.
    Happy stacking!

Decided to diversify into PMs a couple months ago. TSF has been a great resource. Couple questions I had:
Are milk spots on 1OZ Brits inevitable or is just random? LOL Seems like a pretty big thing for RM to ignore. Are there any years which are better quality than others?
Do any sellers on here accept BTC or GBP via the lightning network as payment?
Are there any objective resources/report regarding silver? Everyone seems to be talking their own book and reddit is just full on conspiracy theorists. YT has been good for showing what the PMs look like.
Wrapping my head around the face value and melt value? Does this just show debasement of fiat currency?
    TIA
