@HerefordBullyun If DB is next it’s a bigger problem.   There isn’t a bigger bank in Germany that could take them over.

So the German government will have to buck it up….or let it fail.  It’s probably too big to let fail to be honest.

BTC is significantly up - I tend to think that’s because people who have the best  information are trading ahead of the news being made public.

I forgot to mention that in the US the FDIC depositor insurance fund has 128BN.   Sounds a lot right?
Not really…. commercial banks in the US hold 17.5TN.  So FDIC can’t cover them all, and then some.
The next weeks are all about confidence…
I am very happy To hold physical gold at the moment.
Barring any new news I think Gold will open comfortably up in GBP

When it says the government will nationalise this means the Swiss tax payer.  They will be spitting feathers 🙂
So if this is done the market will be sniffing out the next weakest institution…
The US won’t nationalise / bail out smaller banks so it’s bail in time (rinse the bond holders)…
All good for Gold in GBP I suspect.  Hang onto your hats folks!

UBS’s bid is 0.26 per share, where as CS is trading at 2.0 ish.  An 87percent discount to the last traded price on Friday evening.
    What does this tell us?
    - UBS think CS are in a bigger mess than the market knows
    - If a deal doesn’t go through ahead of market opening, trading could be pretty volatile….money to be make here trading but you need nuts the size of basket balls to trade CS over the next few days.
What will this do to Gold in GBP?  Open in 7.5 hours will give some direction I guess.

My guess is gold hitting GBP1645

Well ladies and gents UPS are absolutely useless. Package has been sat at Castle Donington for almost a week now. Have escalated things with UPS to find out why and what is going on. Should recieve an update in 24 hours but I am not holding my breath will update you all as soon as I know more. They seem unresponsive to emails and when you call them up you get a call centre based over sears. This is turning into some kinda of saga previous shipments had no issues with but this one is a different story.

Agree with this coin collecting game that it is paramount, in my mind anyway, that the coin at least looks nice in the first place.

Somebody once of wine tasting that they didn't want to educate their palate to the point that it started costing them money.  That was the approach I've taken with audio equipment until I had to start teleconferencing in quantity - at which point I need folks to use microphones that at least retain enough sound quality that I can understand what they're saying.
Sadly, I can't bring myself to take joy from manky old sovereigns so I do try to get ones in at least halfway decent condition.  If Victoria looks like a kewpie doll or Ed looks like he's rocking facial tats it's not my thing.

Imo a track recorded in flac format with a apollo UA ( universal audio ) in a flat position ( no added equalization)will blow the doors off any piece of plastic whirling around

I've just voted blind 'cos my crystal ball has just rolled off the coffee table and the tea-leaves are all over the carpet!
All I can say is that over the past 25 years gold has steadily climbed from £200 ($325) to where it is today, but as they say 'past performance is not........

All of it. Sorry I'm a bit pished at the mo. I just paid off a small mortgage. The bank didn't want me to pay it off and were advising me not too. Even though it was with a subsidiary of theirs. When you under stand that whilst I held the £35,000 in my account that remains on their balance sheet. Then the mortgage is also treated as a positive amount as I have to pay it back with interest. So effectively, whilst I owed the £35,000 to them and held the £35,000 in an other account. For liquidity's sake they had £70,000 on they balance sheets. Once I cleared the Debt with my funds they no longer have the £35,000 in my account or the call on the £35,000 mortgage. Multiply this buy tens or hundreds of thousands and you see the whole banking system is build on smoke and mirrors

I loved my bank, starling, you could have savings spaces and have direct debits and other payments come out directly from them, meaning you could just put the right amount you needed every month into them, and knew everything else could be spent without worry. The app was great too.
Then, they stated I can do longer send money to businesses that relate to crypto. Whatever I said, I just sent it to revolut and did it that way, I don't spend much on crypto anyway, only some bitcoin.
Then, they not only block a payment for a single sovereign, they block the ability to transfer ANY money to any accounts, I couldn't even transfer to my own account which is not a new payee, until I got them on the phone.
Then once again last night, they blocked a sale, this time not to a business account, but a personal one.
I am thinking of doing the double switcheroo for bonus monies, NatWest for the £200 quid, then after a few months, first direct as they give you £175 for switching, and apparently they are good.
f**** banks, and f**** the day when CBDCs are implemented and every transaction can be traced the entire way along, and every £ is programmed and seizable

When purchasing gold trough bank transfer as  @Solachesis    said, dont mention gold or coins in the reference box, just put your name.
Then in the what is the payment for.purchasing box put paying a friend and if asked for buying goods or what not, have you seen the goods, put yes .
