My current approach is to put most coins in capsules, but I havea couple that are the ones I take out for handling when the fancy takes me. Usually not the worst but definitely not the best, ones that make me feel happy to handle. Got to take some pleasure from the ownership along the way.

Capsules for Mint state sovs and proofs, tubes for old circulated sovs. As long as they aren't being jangled about every day lol.

hi interested to know if you keep your gold coins -bullion not proofs in coin capsules? i always did before putting them in storage but i took them all out again recently so i can easily access and hold the metal itself - at risk of sounding crazy. Whats the consensus, are we protecting the circulating bullion grade gold or are we setting it free?

@GodsMoney The photo's of scales are placed after the exact coins on them. 1st is "early milled", 2nd is "pre 20, 3rd is "pre 47 and finally is the scrape. I've haven't listed each coin as I'm selling them as bullion.

Back in early 2000's my cousin entered a computer weekly competition, First prize was £250, second prize was £100, he won one of the runner up prizes of a USB drive with 5 bitcoin worth £10.
You can only imagine the number of times he's ripped the house apart looking for that.

I've lost this 1/10 oz gold proof in my house. Spent ages looking for it and gave up in the end. It might turn up one day.
