  1. My understanding it's 2 per year over a five year period.
  2. Lawrence For clarity would you be prepared to give ua your current buying price for good condition sovereigns.
  3. How do I stop this company blasting me with their silly embossed envelopes advertising what I am about. I have marked my account with them to send me no post, I have emailed them to not send any more but still they come. What is the matter with this company, do they have a death wish, this is no way to operate a company.
  4. I am confused, can anyone enlighten me please. I ordered and paid for my SOTD Sovereign mid January, I then received email in early February quoting ETA mid March, then yesterday another email quoting delivery, to my dealer, mid April. My question is why? If the item was produced on 6th February and had already been paid for where is it? Why a wait of 2 months for it to get from South Wales, to my dealer and then to me? It all seems a bit smelly to me, is there some creative accounting going on somewhere? The item is, apparently, in existence, it has been paid for, so actually the value is on someone’s books twice, or on two sets of books, either way it is making someone’s accounts look healthier than they actually are. Maybe I am just being too cynical, suspicious or just plan realistic. I thought I had bought physical Gold not some mythical dream.
  5. I am still getting their fancy envelopes with offers, one day this week I got 2 on the same day, I have email them to stop but had no answer.

    Coin ID

I collect mostly Sovereigns and Britannias, because of this I inevitably end up with multiple of the same year. Every coin I have is identified with an index number; this then ties it to its suppliers receipt. I just wonder if anyone else bothers with this, if so how do you identify each individual coin? Or do you not bother?

  8. Bleyers, like all people can and do make mistakes, however. My one and only experience with them was when I was made aware of a mistake they made recently, regarding the pricing of a coin, I took my chances and purchased the coin fully expecting, and understanding, them to withdraw the offer. They did not, they fulfilled their obligation and delivered, this I know they did for other people too (they did not have to) This has gone a long way to create a lot of good will towards them, I for one am more than willing to give them the doubt, cut them a bit of slack and move on. In my book they are a fully creditworthy company who are honest and sincere.
  9. Your post comes across to me as disingenuous; people are not stupid and are able to think things through. How you conduct your business is of course your business and no one knows better than you how to conduct it, for your benefit. However to the consumer rhetoric does not matter, what matters is the true cost of the item to be purchased, if that item is a known quantity the real factors are the price and the service and confidence they have in their suppliers, people know full well postage and insurance needs to be paid somehow. I have studied the internet prices for some time, mainly for Sovereigns and Britannias, (low numbers) and I conclude you run in second place to Atkinsons in terms of price, for very low quantities. I cannot speak for larger numbers. I have purchased from you both and I can say Atkinson have never given me cause for concern. My first purchase from you did however worry me, regarding the way you handled my queries and it took multiple emails for your staff to satisfy my concerns and fulfil my order. Other orders have been satisfied with no problems. I value your opinions and bow to your vast knowledge but do feel your insinuation that people cannot work out that postage and insurance costs money as insulting to my intelligence.
  10. Having monitored websites over the last few months my findings are that Chards are the cheapest but charge delivery on top, Atkinsons are actually the cheapest including delivery, however this will change depending on the number of coins purchased at a time. If you are buying one or two coins at a time then in most cases Atkinsons will offer the best value.
  11. Suggest you buy some sleeping tablets, you will be asking for organic gold next! Who can say for where or how the gold we are buying was sourced?
  12. That's a hell of a price for a fancy box.
  13. Has anyone any idea when they will be available for delivery?
  14. Has anyone had any updates on the Bleyer Bullion Sov yet??
  15. Just got mine, however pity they had to place one of their stickers onto the envelope, completely unnecessary, they are compromising the envelopes content, in my opinion. Otherwise I am very pleased with them.
  16. Is it today the new sovereign is released for sale, or is it the 17th?
  17. Good to hear that this company is going to do the right thing. They have just gone on my radar for future purchases. Thank you Bleyer.

  19. Is it me or are dealers stock levels running at a very low level. I am in the market for some sovereigns but most daeler seem to be out of stock. One certain dealer seems to be more or less permanently out of stock but this now seems to have spread.

  21. OK rephase that to realise your assets
