Ordered a sheet of 15 of the new silver pandas while I am here in the USA.
Ordered a sheet of 15 of the new silver pandas while I am here in the USA.
They should arrive just before I leave.
I'm thinking of buying a sheet too.
They significantly cheaper in the US than STG?
STG delivered on 15 is £241.15 or £16.08 per coin.
Quite expensive actually.
-
I just can't get used to this "3 g panda" nonsense!
Same here.
-
5oz silver proof .999 coin with very light marks for £10.68 per ounce delivered.
You taken the challenge then? [emoji1]
-
Yeah, I'm thinking of buying a few next week.
-
Thats a cracking idea Dan! must be sub £12 delivered - Challenge accepted!
Edit* - and this time i'm going to keep a bloody spreadsheet! was quite frustrating not knowing my average cost per ounce in my core stack.
Awesome, it may be easier than you think!!!
I managed 520oz in less than a month, so there are the deals out there.
Kilo koala on STG is £374 delivered right now, for £11.63/oz landed.
If you don't want kilo coins, you can get 10 x 2oz hawksbills for £239 delivered, giving £11.95/oz landed - FOR 2oz COINS!!!!
Unbelievable.
-
Cheers mate! I had not planned on buying silver but certainly wasn't going to pass that up! unfortunately its a one off though
Put your other silver to one side, and start a Perth mint sub-£12 side stack. You already have a great start!!!
I dream about £100 10oz coins!!!
-
Today I bought/received (F2F transaction) a 2014 10 oz koala with a scratched up plastic case for £100.
That makes my record of cheapest ounces at £10 each
Fantastic price MS. I'd be all over that!!!

It's kooks only, so delete that post and I'll re-post once I take pics of just the kooks.

Yeah, I almost bought a very convincing copy at an antiques fair last weekend.
Lots of copies apparently, many made from the right metal too.

Welcome to the forum.

I can see them if I click on them.

Bullion vault UK is £9.46.
Kitco is the same.
Atkinsons is £9.48
Only place I see different (9.25ish) is SilverStackers ticker.
Weird.

As it's thanksgiving let's give thanks for that smack down.
No smackdown on my charts, although another forum ticker shows a 20p drop.
Wtf

My eyes are bad, and i have not got a loop, but it has two letters i think the second letter is a P but i can not be sure. Thanks for the tip.Whats the mint mark Silver Pirate? 1920 sovereigns were only minted in three places Melbourne and Sydney are very rare and then there is perth wich is commonI think it's a Perth, looks like there might be a p above the date.
That's a shame.
Glad it's in good condition for you though.
-
But you only have to look at a historical chart to see that silver has more potential for a greater increase in value based on historical highs.
Yep, that's pretty much the reason I'm starting to buy silver again.
-
If the right deals come up it would be worth considering to buy/sell full rolls.
Sometimes specials pop up which can make the price per oz close to the kilos and you always have the option to break them up.
Agree, it's an option I'm happy to follow, price dependant of course.
Today I bought.....
