My 2oz silver Bull of Clarence proof arrived today, no faults at all so well done RM from me.
I see 365 days of silver on YouTube got his RM Tudor Beasts box, and very nice it looks too.

Went a little OTT on jubilees at a recent auction. Piedfort, half raw and 5 sov.
 

£86.  The RM are asking over £100 for Shirley Bassey, as a benchmark.

Some nice NGC recent returns from @GoldDiggerDave   These 80's coins are difficult to hit PF70. Thanks to Dave and his exceptional conservation skills.  Plus a couple of modern gold proofs: 2020 Franklin 50p and 2023 Coronation 1 sov.

Bought this from the Royal Mint, I swore off buying anything ever again from them due to quality control issues but since these come pre-graded from NGC I thought this cannot happen this time.  £400 for 2oz of silver I must be mad.

Took this recent spot price reduction to do first ever gold purchase.   

Although I love silver, this also got me super excited.

 

This is a matte half ounce silver Britannia, I bought bit because the graded gold one that I own is too valuable and requires safe keeping.
This one will be kept on my kitchen window cill to remind of Edith Cavell (a WWI nurse executed for helping men escape). I am also reminded of Noel Chavasse an army medic in WWI, one of only three men to win 2 VC’s.
To me it represents selflessness and I hope that the police officer who recently died from his injuries saving another will receive recognition.

I am so happy to pick up this tiny 1/40oz silver Britannia. It’s the smallest official coin of Britain.

3 LMU 20 Franc Coins
A 20 Franc Rooster and a 1947 Vrenelli courtesy of @James32, and a 1909 Vrenelli from @goldmember44.  Got these a few days ago, but I've been a little busy so just catching up with the pics.  Note the slightly different colour of the 1909 Vrenelli - more silver in the alloy gives it a more yellow colour.  Really nice lustre on the Rooster and the 1947 Vrenelli.

Bought this shipwreck golden ducat. This is one out of 2000 found in the Dutch VOC shipwreck Vliegent hert which sunk in 1735 in a brutal storm.
