The ebay example wasnt for a new one and it doesnt say if there is postage to pay,
You are the only one talking about new ones "matey" the postage on the eBay on is £2.70.
The point being is vat is irrelevant if you sell it on rather than weight it in.
10 hours ago, Gordy said:not a bad price on the eagles as postage free too, be hard to find a cheaoer deal on here inc post
You are a trader on here, you buy in bulk and sell slightly less than what the dealers do, not really sure why you are disagreeing with me. and your topic should be on the cost of post.

Cant remember the last time I saw a new brit go for £21.50 on ebay matey, quite a bit more than a 'give or take a quid' even adding 20% to that £21.50 is still less than what you can get a brit for on ebay, I dont buy brits off ebay btw, too expensive... but we all know you dont rate silver so it doesnt matter anyway
Tavex today's price
eBay sold today.
First silver coin on trading feedback.
The op asked about if vat puts you off buying and I answered. If you have a problem with me just block me please.
As for the comment about not rating silver, all I have ever said is I don't buy 999 anymore, I love silver.

The only way it matters is if you weighed it in and got spot for it because give or take a quid it's the same price from a dealer, second hand on here or eBay. If they stopped vat on silver then those holding will loose out.

This is why I like pre 1920's, you are buying it already battered and bruised, always seems to be a market for it too.

Yes I said this a little while back, was met with confused faces from the experts.

I did read the other day that BTC etf's value has already toppled silver etf's in the first week. Love it or hate it it's quite impressive.

Yep, pour a can of it on a potato, call it a meal and charge a tenna for it.

Land is risky when the revolting peasants have their way. But no one is safe at a societal meltdown, whatever your take on the "Deep State". Beware of TSF members who chant French Revolution 2.0 because they may well be the ones coveting your land, your gold, and your head.
Not in England we won't, too far gone, we are now known worldwide for the land of queuing.

Turn the TV off and don't read/listen to the news and you wouldn't even know mostly any of this is was even happening
Its all a perception deception - fear fear fear, worry worry worry, hate hate hate, fight fight fight, war war war
In other news, ive enjoy a lovely hour brisk walk along the beach, some salty fresh air in the lungs, listening to Rossi's Barber of Seville on the earphones and I bagged a whoopsie fillet steak in Lidl last night for £4.40 im going to even with some nice thick cut chips done in beef dripping with a peppercorn sauce for tea. Life aint always doom and gloom - just a matter of perception what you are worried or choose to be bothered about
Some people love it tho, natural doom scrollers and conspiracy addict's.
Have you tried shopping at markses lately. I think it's better quality and just as cheap (ISH).

There is a place for everything. The way I see there is a place for gold, a place for physical cash and a place for a saving account.
For example, you need an emergency fund in case terrible hit the fun and you need them NOW, do you want to have it in gold? How quickly could you convert it? And when do you intend of using those funds? Is that something to save for your retirement or is it for a project in the next 6/12/18 months? Could you maybe get a better return in the short term just by shoving them in a saving account and save yourself the aggrievance of looking for gold for a good price, having it shipped and having to resell it a year down the line?
There isn't a magic answer, we all have different requirements, only you can find out how to match yours.
The best solution I can offer is to stop overthinking, deal with it one step at the time and tailor the plan as you go along.
You seem to know your stuff.
Are trusts still a thing or are they a old fashioned concept? I need to look into something with some exposure to metals but no physical.

I have a mate who has been a officer in the navy for six years and has never been to sea once because the three times they have tried the ship broke down. He said quiet a few of the ships can't move.

I was a far-right extremist
When I was trying to find out what zero hedge was about, Wikipedia described it as a far right libertarian financial blog.
I am not sure what the benchmark between extremist and libertarian is.

A friend of mine did this. His mum was then silly enough to let the TV licence people in when they came knocking and they caught him watching Sky. However, when it went to court he claimed that he was using Sky to record everything and watch it later so was never watching live TV and didn't need a licence. They couldn't prove he was lying so he got off!

Not necessarily.....spent my life doing things my way and fighting for both nationalism and country sports......two things that often feel like lost causes and long tiring fights. But I've got better things to do than pick silly fights I can do without on top!
I ruse to pay for the TV tax like an increasing amount of people ✌️👍
Ah got that one wrong didn't I.

Because I don't want constant letters and it reduces the chances of a visited to almost zero, and having two young kids I'd rather reduce that likelihood as they might inadvertently let em in. Working in a court room prosecuting criminals it would be highly embarrassing to get done for no license.
If I lived on my own with nothing but a silver and gold collection and the internet I'd probably be prepared to be much more of a rebel
Like most you probably just want to go through life as peacefully as possible.

Used to be cheap food and cheap beers. Trouble is, beer was and still is c**p and the meat is packed full of drugs and half the veg is all gmo. 😮🤔
Don't think I saw any veg, loads of deep fried stuff tho like cheese. Deep fried cheese. Also the smallest coke you could get was like a liter.

To be fair, he did say that portion sizes were huge
Have been a few times and yes you are right, same cost but portions are massive.
Currently about £4.50 a pint in Texas, now from where I am that is cheap but the northerners would probably start a revolution.
