This particular coin is notorious for problems like this. Silver Trader puts a warning on collectable coins like this that all seem to have issues, and he did on this one (that's how I know). So, if you order from him (and I highly recommend him) you will know what you're getting and can even ask in advance. If you want a decent one of these it'd be worth emailing him and ask him if he has any that aren't too bad :)

Ahh i didn't know this! Are you talking about Martin from silver trader? If so i buy from him quite often :)

This is a bit like the other threat with the guy with a scratched small gol bullion bar.    It is reasonable for bullion products to have handling marks, contact marks, and scratches due to the way the investment product in manufactured I will not effect the intrinsic price of the metal for what it's intended for.

Bit of a tip, if you are buying bullion silver and you want a good example you might be better ordering a few of them keep the best one for the collection if you are collecting them and then sell the others as bullion people will still buy them , the only problem doing this you may lose some money with buying and selling silver in a short period of time.

It will be good to see how you get on will you up date the post once you have posted it back, are you paying for the postage?  if so mate it might be cheaper and less stress just to buy a few more of them.

I’m not sending it back, it’s not worth the time. I’m just more inclined to purchase here on the forum where you know exactly what you are getting. I think I just expected more from the royal mint even with bullion products.

Totally understand the point on ordering more to then take the best of the bunch for collection, big thanks for the advice man

I can't see a chip from your photos.

If you come to Blackpool, you get get one without chips, which are aqvailable separately across the road, with very nice haddock.

    😎

Hahaha i thought Blackpool was known for its £1 burgers

  7. Hey everyone, I'm new to the forum but have been lurking for the past 2 years.

I'm looking to get to know more about silver/gold as i have watched countless hours of videos on youtube.

I'm a beginner stacker and have started my collection with a 2021 Brittania, 2020 Krugerrand and a 2020 Disney Lion King coin all 1oz. I enjoy the collectible coins and want to learn more about long term stacking.

It's great to meet you all!
