I received my replacement for Henry VIII today as well and it looks fine.
Well the coin looks fine, the pictures as ugly as a cats arse, and Henry doesn’t look too handsome either.

Like the British Monarchs range, I wish they had started doing these in 1 Oz, especially starting from this year, given the rise in gold prices. It would’ve made the gold versions a bit more attainable.

To be fair to the royal mint. On this occasion I think they have done a great job with display box and capsules

For example, I cancelled the RM order, as some of the EU dealers started selling 2oz silver sets, and for me it would be the same price, even a little less than receiving it directly from the RM, due to customs service charge avoided and less shipping cost. As well, I hope that dealers, unlike the RM, look at coins they receive from the RM before sending them to final customers, so the risk to get bad quality coins is less. One my friend also cancelled the similar order.

His Gothics are absolute stunners, even though @GoldDiggerDave even discovered a typo on the coin with his IPhone 84. JC makes some fantastic designs, but sometimes... What are the Four Graces?

To be honest, the RM should always go its own way and offer its treasures, or better their restrikes, exclusively. But they are not there to serve us collectors, they only want to maximise their profits, wich makes sense as a business operation. Nevertheless, they should do better and do justice to the history of the Mint.
I don't find the annual EIC series exciting either. But I meant the Una from their Masterpiece series. Despite the larger diameter, it doesn't quite match the RM, but it's a great alternative for anyone who missed the RM launch.  The best Gothic Crown set came imho from the Commonwealth Mint with a young QEII portrait of Jody Clark. Sure, not from the RM, but these issues have not to hide behind the RM.

The 5oz set looks great to me, as the edge lettering fills the space like I'd expect it to. The 2oz coins are effectively piedforts (even though there is no 1oz equivalent) and so the blank space looks a bit weird, like on the 10oz coins.
The 5oz is the winner for me in silver land.

I know, St Helena, EIC...... But EIC's Una also looks fantastic. Sometimes you can be really surprised by what they launch.
I would be interested to know if the RM mints these coins.

I feel like the RM deliberately went in a different direction this year, because with the prior three Great Engravers releases, these other mints also diluted the uniqueness and saturated the market.
If I mistake not, EIC has made Una and the Lion an annual series with a different design each year. Way to piggyback on the name of a numismatic icon. 🤦🏻‍♂️

I have said before that the RM could do a series of the St George and Dragon designs done by their “great engravers”.

Indeed. It was the 2017 Sovereign that slowly started it, and the unexpected success of the 2019 Una and the Lion clinched it.
People automatically assumed almost every Royal Mint release would be as successful, which led to FOMO, sell outs, and secondary market prices going bonkers.
I expect the Petition Crown will be quite easily available at slightly above issue price on the secondary market eventually. Which will be great for buyers because their money would have earned interest in the bank by then. So that extra bit they pay a few months or years from now will have evened them out.
    That’s my thinking anyway.
I went for the 2 Oz silver and will perhaps go for the 5 Oz silver if it’s still available tomorrow. If not, oh well, an extra £1,000 for the Coronation coins.

I have no experience buying from the US. It was the same here but only started during covid for people trying to flip. Now its back to normal times I think. People are skint. They are back to thinking you must be mad to pay £560 for 4ounces of silver. Only collectors will probably buy this. In the future if hype comes to the series again people will say why did nobody buy this at the time. Same as the Una. At the time people said £180 for 2 ounces of silver don't be stupid. I returned mine with milk spots for a refund thinking that was almost a big mistake there paying that for some silver and how wrong was I.

I changed my mind and decided to go for the 2 oz. silver set.  The uniqueness of the raised letters on the edges intrigued me.  Plus, the design does look good, and I like the unique capsules.
