  1. 2022 1 OZ canadian Peace Dollar, lovely design by Susan Taylor. The pulsating fields effect should be much better on the 5 OZ coin, but also in 1 OZ a great addition to my collection.
  2. First issue of the canadian Peace Dollar was a reverse proof medal. Susan Taylor and John Mercanti designed one side each. The 2019 Peace & Liberty medal was also issued as 10 OZ and 1 kilo silver. Gold, if i remember right, only in 1 OZ. All pregraded PF70, never saw an ungraded one. 2020 and 2021 both only 1 OZ gold and silver, 2022 / pulsating fields, also in stunning 5 OZ issued. The 5 OZ of the 2022 makes sense, the effect on the big one is just impressive. Just received the 1 OZ yesterday. I like the design by Susan Taylor, the pulsating effect does not really come into it's own, but overall the coin still looks fantastic.
  3. Aunties magic greek oregano helps a lot, but makes you want more biscuits. But i guess, better relaxed with overweight, than a depressed beanstalk. 🤷‍♂️
  4. I didn't say, that's my personal standard. I just replied, what the mint replied to some other members. I got not a standard, which coin i would accept, and which don't, to be honest. Depends on how much i want to hold a coin. And in Germany there is not really a market for graded coins, so i don't care much, if i hold a possible 69, or 70. And the worst thing, i don't really care about selling for most of my coins. Should be my kids problem, i guess a nice problem to have. Coins, that i buy for flipp, eeh, helping other collectors, are for sure better watched for dings and dangs, but i'm usually good, if there are no major issues, well visible defects, spots, etc. for my collection. If i can see nothing obviously with my eyes, i don't much care. F..., exact my thought. Have to save reactions from now.
  5. It was discussed many times, by many members, especially in the GE thread. Many members got the same answer by the mint, they ain't guarantee you an absolute perfect coin. Their standard is 68, or better.
  6. They ain't guarantee perfect coins, they guarantee a 68, or better. HA, like @Paul mentioned, guarantees you a pregraded, perfect coin, for 5k for a 1 OZ of gold. Like the 3k from the mint are not carrying a allready a crazy premium
  7. Hope, they survive the next boat trip, they look awesome. The reverse finish looks much better, than standard proof
  8. Maybe it's because in Germany we are used to get worst coins, than this. But these ain't major marks, or big issues for a return, IMO. Good, if the mint exchange these coins. With a german coin dealer it would be kind of hard, to get any other coin after a return of this coin for quality issues. That's propably, despite the marks on the edge frosting, still a PF70. A 69 for sure.
  9. Was nicht ist, kann ja noch werden😇. Ausser dem Platypus sollten alle noch zu humanen Preisen verfügbar sein. Viele Grüsse
  10. He was a Philhellenic and wrote a drama, Hellas, in 1821 to collect money for the greek independence war, which started in 1821. Coin is issued in memory of Lord Byron.
  11. Really amazing details on every single coin. Like how the kangaroo's head is reflected in the water, the ants on the echidna coin, the structure of the moon... Every single coin is well thought out. The coins are coming from Downies / Australia, minted by the Perth Mint. I like every single coin, the Kangaroo is my favorite so far.
  12. Still one of my favorite coin series. Sixth issue of the "AUSTRALIA AT NIGHT" series, the Leadbeater's Possum. 1000 mintage, nice for a 1 OZ. Lovely coin by the Perth Mint and a great addition to this series and my collection.
  13. The 2022 super incuse Maple looks great. I like the last one, the 2022 looks better. Must order one. Now😅
  14. These bars were minted in 1984/85, had a couple varieties, with inscription, without and some minor differences, propably just caused by minting. They wasn't released for a specific country. Not sure, if this is part of PAMP's religious series. 2015, or 2016, they released a new Mecca bar. If i remember right, only in 1 OZ. They wasn't released with keychain and frame, must be custom made.
  15. No, the new 2 OZ Kookaburra series, started 2020, are all gildet Kook and edge. Only 1 & 5 OZ plain silver, as @Frenchie said. But the gildet 2 OZ Kooks didn't look that bad
  16. 21 Royal Mint Monarch releases is nothing... Didn't found a thread, for the most senseless, very optimistic coin series. The Mint of Gdansk releases 56 coins over a 7 year period, starring only Robert Lewandowski. Not as bullion, but 2 OZ and 1 Kilo high relief coins. If this is not enough, the first coin is called "Talent".🤣🤣🤣 But they are good made, this guy is just ridiculous.
  17. I had to pay shipping, i don't tell the name of this well known Blackpool coin dealer, that doesn't fears the cold and goes in Speedos for skiing.😆 No shipping cost, i can tell the name. No International admin fee, i talk about the great service, fast shipment, one of the best webpages for a coin dealer, that not messed up Royal Mint coin for a nice price and the € payment option, that safes me also a couple %.
  18. Yes, it is. I recently received the 2 OZ version from a Blackpool bullion dealer.
  19. I bought the first 10 OZ for 330€ at the European Mint. German dealers started also around 500€. Except one dealer offering the first 10 bars he sold for around 400, if i remember right. 500, or more, is a lot for this 10 OZ bar. Don't get me wrong, i'm a huge Mando Fanboy and i love the Beskar bars, but at some point i start becoming cheap. If i wouldn't have the first bars, for sure i would buy now.
  20. Tripple mintage, almost double price of the first 10 OZ. Not sure, if this is a smart buy. I put my lights out, if it comes to Mando. But this one doesn't feels good.
