Indeed some paths we take in life can be really damaging, but the few who can turn life around and live to tell the tale deserve more recognition - so don't forget to recognise and treat yourself for all your progress up until today. Everyone deserves it!  Rocky is indeed no philosopher, but he's got some things right

I felt this post like a gut punch. Good for you. I never touched drugs, but I nearly ended up in jail for assorted acts of violence and scallywag behaviour in my youth. Find the right track and keep on it. It’s like rocky said - nothing hits harder than life, and it’s never been about hard you hit, but how hard you can get hit and keep on going.
Now Rocky isn't much of a philosopher, but it’s something that has always resonated with me. You take care and don’t be too hard on yourself. Sometimes you have to suffer in your youth to motivate you to succeed in life. If Bill Gates had got laid in high school there wouldn’t be a Microsoft.

Just to give the flip side of what's happened. Although my feedback doesn't really point this out, but, I have bought enough gold on the forum to have paid for a small 3 bed house, without any real issue. I do try to use those that not only have good feedback but good reputational points and post a lot across the forum. It's a true saying that one bad egg will ruin the omelette. Hope it doesn't put you off stacking or collecting @bestg77 

This kind of thing does huge damage to the forum.  Buying here is based on trust, I don’t get enough of a discount here to justify taking huge risks. I have really enjoyed trading on this forum and only last week made a significant purchase from an honourable seller(I still have to exchange feedback) but, I think in future if sellers without huge feedback don’t clearly indicate by pm who they are I would need to think twice before trading. 
I feel really sorry for you and hope Chris Silver can forward you as much detail as possible of who this guy is to allow you to progress with a fraud claim.

I remember buying on gumtree and the guy wanted a bank transfer I (for my own security) asked him if he’d take a cheque and when it cleared he can send me the goods, he agreed sent me his name and address once I had that I told him I’d changed my mind and sent the cash by bank transfer.
So I know whose door is getting kicked in if I’m ripped off 😎
