  1.

    Welcome to the forum.

At risk of sounding not welcoming I have to say, to come in at 1 post and sell is to me a bit risky.

You should introduce yourself and give back ground to your stacking/collecting history.

I for  one would not buy from you, and being in Singapore I hold my hands up would not buy from.

I apologise for not sounding welcoming, and would have to say to newbie buyers on here think long and hard before you buy anything from anyone.

Sorry again, but as a long standing forum member this had to be said.

My two gold Edward VII Perth mint Sovs - 1906 and 1907.  The 1907 has more definition - less wear, but pretty happy with both.  After paying auction fees etc they were about £249 each, averaging the two. Bit more than I posted yesterday..

Nice to see the detail on the gold you just dont get on silver coins of the same period.

On the topic of fake slabbed coins, where is best to try and get them authenticated? I have bought a few on ebay, I never thought they could be faked.

I remember an article of a machine that can tell you, if the metal is legit through plastic,if anyone else has a link for it,please do me a favour and put it up guys thanks.

Just bought one of these also. First silver I've bought, not purely for the silver content.

Same here first one i've bought with paint on,i just like it.I seem to have not bothered with my average lately.I 'l worry about that later.

I'm now going on a silver and gold sabbatical for 6 months. Need to save for a holiday and sort of up my other investments, just in case those eggs fall out of the theoretical basket.

HOWEVER, if and when any ebay or nectar deals come up I will maximise them and buy the minimum needed to use up those deals.

So taking that into consideration, with the 500 nectar point bonus for spending over £35, I just bought 130g of sterling silver forks for £42.69, which equates to £10.99 ozt. (although with the 539 nectar points worth £2.70, the topcashback 1.1% worth 47p, and the credit card cashback of 0.5% worth 21p, that brings the whole thing down to an equivalent of £10.17 ozt )

It's easy this investment lark isn't it. ;)

The cutlas i used nectar points and some rubbish i sold on e-bay.It feels better when you wheel n deal like free silver. My Sovereign was birthday money, happy days.

  7. Today i bought a 1oz Silver Eagle £13.49 and £2.50 Nectar points.

Nothing exciting but another ounce in the stack. Not a big purchase, but i wanted to show stackers on a budget it can be done.

Slowly, slowly, filling a tube, four in it now. Buy your self a tube from E-bay and see if you can fill it.

Come join me my fellow stackers, its national start filling an ASE tube day.

Clear the loft sell some rubbish.:)

Haven't finished buying yet as I'm off out later to Abbotssilvercoins but I can't make up my mind what to buy from David. Maybe a 10oz silver coin~

I am trying to convince the wife to buy me the 2011 Kook from Dave @Abbotssilvercoins I really like that coin and it was the sight of the kilo version on you tube back in 2011 that lit the silver fuse,i don't own one and i wish i did. Got to nag her some more, that's today's mission.

Edit: Today the wife bought me for Christmas a 2011 1oz Silver Kookaburra, Good ole girl.
