  1. Another 2oz's of silver bullion nothing special.one was the lucky dip Atkinsons are offering be interesting to see what comes, not bothered what it is really. My gold money went on the car tax so had to have a buying fix somehow. Thankyou to Fluttershy for buying my bar tubes as i used that money towards one of the coins, got an Apmex eagle again from Sarnia. :) Feels good to add some more to the stack regardless what it is.Sarnia has a nice little one oz poured bar but sold out  i wonder if they will get some more in.

  2. Everything has a value, whether it reach's the value of your expectations is another matter.Yesterday i had a very nice lady i know who is in the house clearance business come to my house and buy everything that i had collected and stored away in my garage and loft for such a time as i needed a bit of cash from her.

In this hoard of stuff was action men,dolls,bric-a-brack,garden things, kids stuff, old TV's,magazine's anything that looked car bootable that was thrown away from my place of work, anything that was offered to me (do you want this?) yes thank you,i added it to the junk stack.I got £180 for a load of old chit.

What i am trying to get at is what ever we stack be it metals (which i have a loads of scrap chit too) or junk,it all has a value, horses for courses.I even have a man coming round this afternoon to pick up a load of firewood i sold.

The trick is the relevant price you pay ratio to selling the item,If it is a flipper item like a panda you know what it costs and what you would like in return and would try and sell it as a collectible, that's the right exit plan, but you would not put it in the bullion bucket unless you wanted shot of it real fast, but it still has a value all be it less,

Everything is worth something, but in my experience everything looses money from the original price if you can come out ahead selling something you have done very well.

Stuff is a store of wealth.Even a store of cash looses money with inflation, the poxy interest rates we are getting at the moment.IMO can not keep up with it.

Stuff is king.it is how much you can get the stuff for is the trick.

You can stack anything and get a return.

My apologies this post was off topic.

  3. I keep an eye on a you tube site run by iscrap which keeps an eye on scrap metal prices and they are saying Gold to climb in the next few months.I dont know how to put a link. If any one can find it and put a link., rockaway recycling i scrap app. they do a wednesday update its from 1 day ago.

  4. I'm hoping for a nice drop as I get my finances in order this month so not spending much.  I'm having an ebay clearout of stuff I no longer need and i'm selling all my old paintball gear (except my primary setup) on the p8ntballer forums.

If we get a nice dip at the start of next month, i'll be all over that.   I take it the price increase is mostly coming from silver as an investment and not increased industrial demand.

That's the way to do it if it has been in the loft for a year you don't need it,sell the crap and buy the metal i say.I am hoarding scrap metal at the moment i would like to buy my first order from STG this year.mmmmmm what can i sell?

  5. Well i nearly received but i missed the post my two Apmex Eagles,Should we be factoring the cost of petrol going to the sorting office to pick up missed parcels as part of a cost average?

I went and got the rounds, very nice smaller than an ASE but a lot thicker i like them. They where classed as business strike so both had one small dink , they are great bullion would recommend them for a stacker.

Post was quick and well packaged, and signed for post.Good service from Sarnia as always, well done Paul i think his name is.

  6. Lol, blame me all you like.

I have 250 pre and about 100 post, I really like them but I only buy them when they are around spot.

I am so far behind as always,I had some before and sold them on E-Bay and bought an ASE with the money A bit of diversity in a stack might come in handy one day.
