Value request

Recommended Posts

I know these are 1922 King George Gold Soveirgn or something like that, And I wanna know the value of these coins ( All the other coins I've seen on other sites are 8 grams per coin but these are much less in weight)

There are 21 coins

And the total weight of the bracelet is 53.69 Grams

each coin is probably about 2 grams

Interesting piece....

If the weight is 53.69g and there are 21 coins then they're not full sovereigns.

Have you had the gold content tested?

You need to bring this to a jewellers to test. The whole piece could be 9ct or brass.

Can you measure the the width of the coins to see how close they are to a genuine sovereign?

No Half sovereign were minted in 1922.

I know we like to be helpful on here, but you have weighed them, why still think it is anything of any real value? Get to a local jeweller and get it sorted

Coins look fake so I would get them tested

I think the weight may be an issue🤔😮

Well what I meant was they are not genuine coins even by looking at the reverse, could be copies but of a smaller weight & carat

These are almost certainly fakes/copies, judging by the weight and size differential.

Genuine Sovereign specification/diameters are:-

Full Sov = 22.05mm

Half Sov = 19.3mm

Quarter Sov = 13.5mm

At best visually would be the 1/4 Sov. But this was not minted by the RM until 2009.

As suggested by others all that needs to be determined is whether there’s any gold. Good-luck.
