What are peoples thoughts on these? Coming soon. What is the bezel made from?

Limited mintage of 5000

Should I risk £345 to pre-order one?

Is it going to flop?

Are they riding the Wonka gravy train?

Can’t see the charm being gold it would say.

Exactly. Hence me wondering what it's actually made of. Very strange

It’s probably gold plated brass methinks.

If there was one speck of gold involved, surely they would make it known lol

The bars come with a stainless steel pendent frame allowing you to wear the bar like a charm, but this listing does not include a chain

Would make more sense that the specification you note there, is for the 1oz solver COD bar?

Anodising is for aluminium, but yes, I think you're overall correct

I think it looks awful lol (probably silver soldering)

Will it be worth more than £345 at any point in the near future though?

I think so.

The bezel is poor but I don't think it will be used. Collectors might not open the box even 😃

I wouldn't open it, but I'd want to sell for at least £400 within a year lol

The Wonkas were a quick flip, this will be too.

IMHO!

I don't see quite the same appeal or pending frenzy for this

Maybe?

I'm not a gamer but isn't this game very popular?

The Wonka bars had a limited mintage of 3000 if I remember rightly so slightly more exclusive numbers wise.

More “collectors” would have known of the film than maybe know of the Game COD so will that effect your flip for profit within the year....??

These are getting imported over so maybe more limited than the 3000 Wonka bars.

I watched a few get auctioned on certain FB groups and was very surprised the bids got as high as they did for a 5g bar but when you see certain 1g bars going for over £100 maybe it’s a gamble worth taking if you’re one of the first to get your hands on one and can get it listed before the rest do.

Will it align wit a new COD Modern Warfare game?

Gamers are usually climing over eachother to get to new releases.

Not sure id risk it.

Im generally a buy high and sell low though. So could be missing a good opportunity.

The game was released 3 months ago.  New CoD's are always released just before the end of each year.

I play a lot of CoD to pass the time but can't see anything appealing about this bar at all.  I did buy a Wonka bar as I liked the design of that one.

This product isn’t aimed at gold collectors but rather at gamers which there are a heck of a lot more of. Hence the included in-game weapon charm code. COD has a massive following world wide. That’s the reason for the greater mintage for this product compared to the Wonka bar. If I were to guess it will sellout quickly and is very likely to increase in value. Not due to pm collectors but due to game paraphernalia collectors. It’s best left sealed and untouched in its box if purchased as an investment.
