Britannia and Liberty 2024

Recommended Posts

Just seen that RM is taking orders for the Britannia and Liberty 2024 1oz silver and wanted to get opinions on if this would fall into the Britannia range of coins. I think that it's stand alone, rather than being a 'Britannia' but at the same time, it could also be classed as a variation of Brit.

Also, RM is so expensive, £33.40 for 1oz of bullion silver, does anyone think that other UK retailers will sell any cheaper?

I ordered the 2 ounce silver proof from the Royal Mint website today. 😃

Planning to order the 1 ounce proof silver medal from the U.S. website later on today when they are available to order.

And planning to order the 1 ounce silver bullion coin when a Canadian dealer would carry them sometimes this month, I think I would order 50 coins.

1. Chards if you buy more than 1

2. Dont stres it, there are over 1/4 million of them being minted, you will be able to get one no bother at somre point

3. I bet @theman73 is already looking to source some?

It does not matter how slowly you go so long as you do not stop.

I really like this coin, but can anyone explain the hand holding the torch, the wrist seems to be at the wrong angle.

Maybe it is just me being picky, or is it just artistic licence etc? 🌞

Don’t think it is particularly if you turn it around to look at it?🤔🤔

Anyone know anywhere selling the US version that will ship to the UK ?

Only had a Quick Look but 75k mintage and just shy of $90 seems a bit steep.

According to my U.S. collectors friends, the silver medal is scheduled to start delivery in May 2024.

What is the shipping cost from the U.S. mint to UK?
