Morning chaps!

A quickie, I hope?

I've got to send a 1 ounce silver bar to Portugal. I looked on the RM site, will 100g large letter suffice?

I.e. a jiffy bag? How would you send such an item?

Cheers,

Roy

I would use a cardboard box. You can buy "large letter" boxes of amazon or ebay pretty easily.

Jiffy bags are just too easliy cut into quickly.

A cardboard postage box with an outer layer of tape or brown paper will be much better.

I use them all the time!

Maybe you have a spare BYB box lying around!

RM 100g large letter international should get there all OK with  up to £50 insurance as standard with the optionto pay more and get £250 cover.

Good luck!

Does that insurance cover precious metals?

Yes, I have made successful claims for missing international precious metals items.

Genius! That's that sorted! 😊

It's a TSF ounce bar, 2018, going to a new home 🇵🇹

Cheers BYB 👍
